What do you like about your game?
I'm most proud of the AI I developed for the game :). I researched Gmod nextbots and "The Joy of Creation" for inspiration!

I got jumpscared exactly once lol. I think the AI handles decently well, in the sense that that once you hear it, you have a chance of actually escaping from it - instead of it being an immediate instakill, as Ive grown accustomed to expect with more primitive AI implementations. I think the coinflip is okay, definitely a jumpscare moment and wondering why you're still alive - could probably have a better lore reason or something. I liked the wall illusions slowing you down, I like the shaders, I like the outside area (although I didnt realize they were all connected at first) and I like the overall lighting of the interior maze.

I think you put the monster too close behind a wall, so your heartbeat actually gets triggered on your way to the exit screen after youve finished the game.

Also your exit easter egg was a little unclear, I just ended up jumping off.

pretty fun pretty solid little challenge maze congrats on the release

To be honest, I don't really understand what I'm supposed to do gameplay-wise to not get got.  The atmosphere and sound design is good, though!

Hindsight is powerful; If I were to make some changes at this point, it would undoubtedly be the balance for the aberration. As it is currently, it functions as a "coinflip mechanic." If I had more time, I would've had more ways to "Survive"; however, given how short the game is, making it easier would've just made a short game even shorter.

Thank you so much for playing my game!

Nice game. I would have enjoyed it more if there was a better explanation, than "either...or..., don't let it jump on you".  Or hiding spots to wait out while the monster passes. Because the player can't outrun the monster.

That intro was amazing! The atmosphere for this game was top notch. Gameplay was also good. I ended up beating the game and really liked the ending too. I felt it kinda tied in with the intro in a way. As for the monster, it felt a bit random whether I startled it or enraged it, but that was made up for by the fact that there's a really good audio telegraph to let you know the monster was nearby. Overall, an excellent submission!

Scary game,I did get jumpscared alot. I really like the artstyle of the game with the colorbanding effect and how it goes really well with the level in a game like this. the gameplay is also really fun and nerve wracking. Cool Game :)

For sure the Atmosphere is amazing! I like the starting segment with all of it's weird visual stuff, the gameplay isn't the craziest thing but given the time frame it's good for what it accomplishes. I got startled a few times playing as well so good job!
