The ability gameplay tied to puzzle-solving and 3D first person parkour turned out to be a very satisfying game loop

Really nice puzzle-solving game with some interesting abilities that you can mix up in order to make progress in the game. Also nice visuals ! Considering this as a game jam and made up on short time, it's really cool. Would love to see more of it.

The game looks good. The concept of having these abilities work completely isolated from each other but also  function together is nice.  The acceleration makes the platforming really difficult. if you aren't 100% in tune with the game mechanics you'll just fall. I struggled utilizing magenta, and did not get the yellow, having to time the parkour with the button was too much for me to handle, mixed with the retry screen completely halting the fast paced gameplay, also I wanted to hear the voice lines, just not every time I died.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Players were pretty unanimous about the platforming being too demanding in regards to precision (same with the dedicated retry button), and that it affected how enjoyable the game was as a whole. After the Jam voting period has passed, I'll make a patch to the game to fix common issues reported by players, as well as minor bugs that slipped through the cracks.

As a sidenote, if you're curious about how the game ends, I've uploaded a full playthrough of the game on my YT here:

Yeah, It would've taken me so long to get that. Yellow seems really cool, and I appreciate getting to see the current end to the narrative.

I really liked the artstyle of the game looking like a lab of some kind. I was suprised to hear that there was voice acting which is rare to hear in most gamejam games and a neat thing to add to your game (+ the subtitles were good). One thing that did frustate me a little bit are the controls, they do not feel like they are polished enough for a precision platformer, the platforms are very precise and the controls were somewhat sluggish (in the second level where you have to jump on alot of platformers and stop at one to press a button (I believe that it was level ) I sometimes fell of the platform before i could really stop to press the button). Otherwise great game :)

I really love the concept of changing your movement abilities on the go with such stylistic visuals on top.  Also I'm glad you added subtitles, as it was hard to hear some words with the filter on top of it. I just wish the resetting was a bit faster without a need for me to press a button, because it interrupts flow of gameplay. Other than that, I really enjoyed this!

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you had a good time!

As a curiosity: the game was originally gonna have a dedicated restart button (R on keyboard/ Back button on de xbox controller), but I was worried people would frequently press R on accident and get frustrated, specially in a game where you have to press E so much. I never got to take that theory for validation with playtesters, so your feedback about it was super important  :)
