'You can do it. You can do it! You can do this juuuuuuumpppppp...'
Or maybe not.
On the plus side, the most dangerous part isn't the fall, it's the landing. And I never hit the ground. So no harm done, right? :)
I especially like the animation. And the McGuffin was just silly enough to be genuinely entertaining. It felt like I was on my way to the next pub.
Unfortunately, I'll never know what the last film was, because I couldn't master the long jump before the bottomless abyss. But it was fun to try.
I'm a big fan of zombie apocalypses and movies... so I immediately resonated with the core plot! Unfortunately I wasn't good enough at mastering parkour to end up at the movie, but I enjoyed trying.
As someone who enjoyed the framing of the game, I think it could be cool to have some of those zombies visible in the buildings to add that sense of threat. (For all I know they could be in there already and I just didn't get to them!)
Cool concept! The mechanics feel a bit janky sometimes, but it was fun to run around and the difficulty was great! I did manage to softlock the game by falling into an infinite hole, though.
thank you! should I ever update the game after the jam I'll look into fixing the holes, may I ask where the hole was?
Oh, I'm not really sure. I think it was pretty late in the game. The reason I fell was because I couldn't find an arrow that pointed me in the right direction, so I just kinda took a leap of faith.
Hey! I loved the concept and art for your game! You did really well to create an idea that draws in the player! I would have loved to have some music and sound in the game (you can get some free assets on Pixabay!), I think it really adds to the overall atmosphere super well! But the gameplay was fun and I loved the smoking animation! Great job :)
thank you! if I ever update in the future I'll 100% look into adding music
