That was pretty hilarious. Would be cool to be able to go through the game again and try different things without accidentally winning after making it into the cockpit for the first time.
This could be a forever loop, but thanks you made the ending! It's good to have some ending in the jam game. Very cool and funny design, loved the dialogues and jokes. The font could be bigger, though. Great, fun and easy-going!
A great thing you have made! I love your art style and animations, it's a really polished looking game. I made a playthough video, I had a few text display glitches which you can see, but nothing that took away for the pleasure of playing this game. After I played I read your walkthrough guide and and I think I missed a few things, because I asked about the pilots energy drink and the plane crashed, I thought it was going to be a groundhog day style game but I awoke and the only thing i could say was "no thank you" which let sandy go and serve the pilot and stopped the plane from crashing. I would have like another chance to play through with the knowledge from the first run. Anyway I see much room for expanding this game and will look forward to seeing where you go with it. Congratulations and well done.
Thanks so much - really glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah, we're still trying to figure out how to make the game work a bit better after you first death, so will hopefully put some time into workshopping that after this jam is done.
Thanks again, :)
Great characters and writing. Love the graphic style. Lots of fun!
Thanks so much - really appreciate you taking the time to jam our game!
Great game! I love the final destination theme.
Haha, thanks. Yeah, I'm a sucker for that first movie!
I'm tired of talking about it, there are a lot of games on the jam with a cool visual style and this one is great. A short but very detailed and even slightly variable game. I really enjoyed it.
Thanks so much - glad you liked the style - we really love what our designer Kristen did with it. Gonna give your game a play through now...
I like your game, the graphics and animations are very nice. Good job.
Thoroughly enjoyed this one. The art, music, SFX, characters, and writing are all very well done!
Amazing game! I love how the game is almost a troll as you can just not talk to sandy and win instantly. I never did manage to give the pilot the drink myself (if it is possible). Very fun, and funny game.
Incredible job! The animation, art style, music, characterization -- all of the elements in this game are awesome! I loved the time loop mechanic but wish the game was longer. Would love to play a full version!
Very nicely drawn, I liked the puzzles and the atmosphere. I have one complaint: I found the end to be a bit anticlimactic - at the beginning the third iteration I was thinking "what am I doing wrong", expecting another final puzzle to be solved, and it turned out instead that I had done all I had to do and the game was over. But great job!
Thanks for checking out our game, and glad to hear you like most things about it - that's super encouraging.
In terms of the ending.. it's a tough one, because we like the idea of how to solve the main game, but we also realize that if it's not executed perfectly, or if the player doesn't spot the correct hints, it will totally feel anti-climatic... so yeah, on the next build we're going to try specifically sign-post that ending a bit better so that it's more satisfying and feels like an ending and not just an accidental win.
I have nothing but respect for a man who can add spices to bowl of beef soup with his mind without being caught!
The art style is pretty unique. I am personally extremely afraid of flying so I can relate with the protagonist A LOT. I like the twist in the story and the details like the little bird (is it a duck?) who pocks from the windows. Great game.
Thanks so much for checking out our game - keen to play yours!
And to be honest, I don't know if it's a duck... that's something one of the other developers added and it took me by surprise as well, :)
Nice art style! Didn't expect such high level of art & animation for game jam project. Definitely high score for Atmo and Character design. Enjoyed the first and the second play-though, especially those a little break-the-fourth-wall kind of dialogues. Got a little bit confused on what else I could do...but the twist and the end put smile on my face :) Fun experience overall.
Some small things I noticed that can be improved: the to-do list text blinks when I opened it, making it hard to read; Miles and the stewardess overlaps sometimes. (I used an MacBookPro and played on the web)
So glad you enjoyed our game, :) Thanks for taking the time to check it out!
We'll be sure to fix those errors in the next build, :)
very nice game to play with, only downside is the game is a bit short but i can see the effort you guys put into the animations that make the entire game so smooth. love it!
An enchanting and heartwarming adventure that beautifully combines coziness and thrill, as you embark on an adventure to save the plane from an imminent crash! Very neat. I really enjoyed the art style and the dialog. Seemed very thought-out.
Wonderful stuff. Love your cosy art style, and the open style nature of the gameplay was clever and worked great! Congrats team!
Extremely charming art and concept. Would like to see more!
Great concept, really nice art and animation, and the timer adds some excitement. Great job all round! I also have one very similar puzzle in my game :D
Fantastic! I loved the art and the writing was hillarious! The puzzles were super clever but fun to figure out. All in all a lovely game, great job!
