Wow, this is a fantastic game! Great job. Quite a simple idea, but at the same time very engaging gameplay. I loved that there are different levels of complexity existing simultaneously. Different challenges require different skill levels, but at the same time, they don’t block your level progression.

Oh, my poor Box Friend, I tried hard to carry it on but lost finally in the spikes pit. It was too hard to recover it from that dangerous place. The music is energetic. One day after playing the game, it’s still in my head.

Cool game! The slippery and sticky mechanic was fun and I liked the coins to collect along the way!

I'm really bad at these kind of games and I rarely play them. But what can I say - I had fun. The movement and the noises the slime makes while sliming are endearing.^^ The music creates a chill atmosphere so I never felt rushed like I usually do when playing anything remotely platformy. I only got a fraction of the coins, but that's ok, I wasn't in it for the money.^^

Developer

Glad you had fun!

The controls can be a bit rough around the edges, especially the sticky mechanic.

The music, well... I was in a chill mood while working on the game, so I guess it ended up having a chill atmosphere.

Really slippery and slimey movement, and I loved it. Background music was also great. Good job!

Ever since I started making games, I was interested in learning soft body physics, and this game jam was a perfect opportunity!

Turns out, you just need a bunch of small rigid bodies working together to simulate one larger soft body object.

Thanks for checking the game out!

The movement on this is so much fun! Nice little mechanic of switching between sticky and slippery. I love how laid back the atmosphere is :)

Thankyou!

This was short and fun game. It is funny that he opens his mouth sometimes. I like the art and the difficulty is just right. It was entertaining watching the slime achieve high speeds in the sticky form. I do not know why, but I could hear high pitched noise irregularly. It is probably a sound effect, but it could just be my headphones.

Thanks for taking the time to play the game.

Yeah... I noticed that high pitch noise happening, but only on the WebGL builds... it's probably some sound mixer artifact, I'll have to look into it more to figure it out...

Glad you had fun playing!

Pretty fun game! But I don't know where I should use the slimy ability.

Developer

Well slimy ability was supposed to be used to squeeze through tight spaces, but after adding the little box friend, I had to make those tight passages a little bit taller so it could fit, and that caused the slimy ability obsolete... crazy how changing one small parameter can make a whole game mechanic not work! I love game dev xD

Anyways glad you liked it!

super interesting texture and sfx for the character, the only problem is that it is a little bit hard to control. Also i passed all stages without using the blue slim

Developer

Thanks for taking the time to play my game!

I worked alone and didn't have much time to tweek all the parameters, so we are stuck with the way it is...

The game is supoosed to be a replica of Gish (a game from my childhood i really liked), also I wanted to experiment with soft body physics
