Very cool that you have multiple endings. Perhaps even split that up into three, depending on where you go with one ending.

I enjoyed this game very much, the story layering unfolded really well.  Good sfx and the pixel art style is very good. Looking forward to seeing more games from you.

here is my play through

Impressive submission! Sets a nice dark tone through the writing and backstory. I really like the character art for Eva. At times the environments felt a little large to traverse for as much as we could interact with it, and they appeared a bit large compared to the character as well. It seemed a little cliche to give the doctor amnesia and not even tell us why or how, although maybe that was even your intention. One other small gripe is how nothing in the hospital gives us any context outside of the main character and experiment. It somehow makes the world feel more fabricated. I only complain this much because I really liked this submission though! Great work for your first game!

Very nice game! I loved discovering the story bit after bit, and luckily I had saved because I somehow felt there was more than one ending :D nice job

The atmosphere, emotions and engagement are all great. It feels that you invested a lot of time in the story and the characters. But, I was missing sharing some adventures with characters and involvement in their drama. I mean, we learn a lot through the notes and other lore materials, but as a player, you will prefer to live some of this through together with characters :) to learn who is who and why.

Dialogs are great and help to create the culmination. I love your art. The final scene is captivating. It wasn’t easy to read some notes due to the font. But everything else was smooth and neat.

Overall, the atmosphere is very mysterious. It will be great to have more puzzles hidden within. I tried different endings and would love to see more of this story if you plan to develop it later :) Thank you for the game!

Great little game. Loved the little nod to the digging about in the garbage.

I love how sarcastic is this doctor about him being in trouble

Love the concept and the dripping of storyline throughout. I may have missed the part where this is addressed, but it wasn't clear why the doctor had amnesia at the beginning. I also felt like the game was leading up to a big interaction with EVA throughout, and then when I got to the ending it didn't give me much chance to really interact with her. But I loved the twist, and the self-contained nature of the game. I'd love to see an expanded version!

I actually recorded my playthrough. If you want to see my impressions as I played, you can see it below (timestamp for your game in the description). Hope that can be useful!

Really enjoyed your game, the story and the scale, with so many rooms and that feeling of freedom to move around the building as you want, love it. Well done!

Was fun piecing together the backstory as you walked around the abandoned hospital, got more and more creepy as you went on, and really all on the back of the strong writing, nice job! I think all the others that used PQ had a lot of help from me and each other on the discord, so you did well to get by on your own!

Thank you for playing! This was our first time developing a game ever, and it's amazing how PQ made it so easy with the tutorial and documentation.  Appreciate your work!

Oh wow, extra big congrats are in order then!

There was a surprising amount of backstory to be found. I really like the fact that it's more or less optional and you can skip it if you want. I don't see why anyone would, as the game is well written. Took the time to play both (and a half) endings. Well worth the time. Endings 2a and 2b (so to speak) were the same for me (the Doctor) though.

The pixel graphics are absolutely up my alley. They look terrific and fit the mood you create nicely.

Fantastic game.

Nice to see another PowerQuest game! Very cool, I’m getting Ex Machina vibes. Love the creepy music and the obsession with trash was funny.

Our games actually have some very similar themes and even puzzles!
