Epic vibe here. Maybe too epic for a jam, for there's lots of empty space unused and some places (seemingly important) aren't reachable. Text can be made faster or skipped (I read fast). The most I specifically loved here is color design, quite a breathtaker.

Very cool character design and I love the idea about saved villagers making you stronger. Vegetation, scenery and the sky all look great. I didn't have any performance issues either. However, I would have liked that all the dialogue was at the bottom with some type of next-button so I could read at my own pace. The user interface and combat mechanics need a lot more polishing too. I also believe that the land doesn't need to be so big when it's mostly empty playspace. Maybe just the area where Guardian struts around could be big and empty? My feedback might sounds pretty harsh, but I did enjoy the gameplay and the story quite a lot. Delightful and unique entry for the jam, well done!

This is awesome! I love the guardian - having something huge off in the distance that you can actually go up and get close to is amazing. The day/night cycle is really beautiful too.

oh edit to add - your mac build does work for me, but I had to run the following command to open it:

chmod -R +x Lightkeeper-Mac.app/Contents/MacOS/Lightkeeper
Developer

oh nice thanks for the tip
