Thanks for playing. I'm happy how the recharging mechanic turned out.

Appreciate it! Sounds like the sunlight mechanic was a recipe for fun.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

APPRECIATED! Playstation 2 games like Ratchet & Clank and Jak & Daxter where big inspirations for the game.

Much obliged! I'm glad you liked it.

Great! Our hook is working

(1 edit)

That's a big brain move, but it adds alot of backtracking. Maybe I will raise some of the platforms after the game jam so you can conquer your fear of platforming.

Best game of the jam I've played so far! The level design is perfect and the gamemechanics are just brilliant. The platforming, the safeguarding and the grappling hook mechanic were all executed so well. I got stuck in the boss fight between a metal platform and a wall though. Restarted and replayed the whole game because I just had to see it through.

If I would like to nitpick, and I do. The safeguard mechanic adds slight unresponsiveness to combat as it locks the mouse. Maybe there could be some delay so the mouse won't lose input when just clicking?

Anyway, I love the design of the robots and the digital screens. Add some story about the facility and more levels and I would absolutely pay money from this game. Astonishing work!

Cool story! Nice mix of platforming and melee combat. I felt that the theme was a bit absent from the game though. Visually pleasing and the music was fun. Great job!

Fun puzzle-platformer with nice visuals! I was a little disappointed it was so short. Great game nonetheless.

Dayumn, this game is jammin! I love the environmental storytelling and the different gameplay elements. Wish there was some other reason than highscore to collect money. Excellent job overall!

Clever game mechanics and funny humor. The moving platforms were too slippery in my opinion though. I love the design of the signs and their dialogue. Good job!

What a hilarious little game! Kind of suprised you went with Unreal engine on this type of game, but the game plays great and looks fantasic. The microwave part was so nerve-racking... Great job on this one!

Fun idea and  a solid platformer. It would have been cool if the different game mechanics were linked together. For example: You have 60 seconds to collect coins and then 60 seconds to invest those coins into the stock market. The movement was a bit stiff, so it could use some acceleration, but the jumping felt great. Short yet sweet. Well done!

This is flicking awesome! The game mechanic is easy to understand and the challenge progression is very well thought out. Had some trouble finding the king though, but managed to do all the challenges eventually. Also the game looks and sounds amazing. Fantastic job on the game!

Wow, that's quite a compliment.

Thank you so much from the thorough analysis Nick! We’re thrilled you enjoyed the design, puzzles, and even the lizard’s endless commentary. We had a blast making the game and love to hear peoples thoughts on it.

read your comment, appreciated

Thank you for the kind words and the feedback! I'm happy to hear we could encourage players to try again when failing. After all; Why do we fall?

It's always good to have excuses. We didn't actually have access to Gex, but his very very distant cousin.

Thanks, you are too kind! No really, you are too kind :D

Hello, we cross paths once again. I appreciate the compliment. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed the atmosphere and the twist at the end. Happy to hear the platforming hit the sweet spot!

Glad to hear it. I woke up super early today just to add final touches and extra layer of polish.

I appreciate the rating! Also thanks for playing.

Glad you had fun. Apologies for the lizard dude. He insists he's essential.

Thanks for playing! Those were our main focus during the development.

It's very satisfying to break everything and see the parts flying around. The visuals get a bit cluttered when breaking mountains though. It's a bit disapointing to start from low power levels every time, but I really like how the game introduces new skills to speed up the process. Overall a fun game, great job!

Cool concept. Needs some more sound effects and spinning visuals in my opinion. Game mechanics are easy to understand and play. Well done!

This was super fun! Reflecting bullets was very satisfying and the particle effects looked awesome. I also liked the different types of golf balls that were introduced during the game. Great concept with fantastic execution!

Love to hear that! Thanks for playing.

I'm glad you liked it! We had so much fun creating and voicing the characters. Appreciate the kind words about the art and animations too!

That was alot of fun, although I don't think that's a right response for losing a job. It's hilarious how the furniture and doors fly around when running throught the building. The visuals are great and the ending was funny too. Excellent job!

I love the visuals and the gameplay loop! The "Human: Fall flat" style movement is well implemented, although the walking speed could be a bit less sluggish so that the default movement won't become just jumping around. Level design is top-notch and I like the red fellow just hanging around in there. The game over animation was also really funny. Fantastic work!

It's very cool how the music adapts to the speed of the vehicle. I think there could be some a target speed you have drive throught the gate to complete a level for some more challenge. Visually very pleasing game. Well done.

Great concept for a platformer brawler. The jump in the attack cycle felt quite odd, mut I managed to use it to double jumps in the jumping room. I don't know if that was the intended use for it. The attacks felt a bit unresponsive, but the ragdolls were hilarious. Fun gameplay with a nice boss fight on top. I always like the little guys in mechsuits. Great job!

Thank you for the kind words! Nice to see familiar faces. I'm glad you liked the game.

Thank you for the feedback. I will have to take a look at the menus when I got the time.

Appreciated! I had some ideas for random cosmic horror events, but did'nt have the time to add them during the game jam. The randomized amulet positions and hard difficulty could be great additions to the game aswell.

The floating chair could be just a chair pushed out of the water, so yeah that's a bug. The pocketwatches are visually very similar to the amulets.

Thanks for playing and making the video! I really enjoyed watching your playthrough. You are quite a chatty fellow :)
