It's difficult to tell when damage is happening, especially against the shadow fight. Aside from sound some knock back, hit stop, hit flash, or damage effects would help a lot visually
- the .zip file and the .exe files are named diff from the itch game name. since i had it sitting around for a while i had lost track of what this game was till i started it - tried thrice, couldn't even beat the first guy

You're right, truth to be told I only tried a couple of times but I haven't been able to make a visual indicator that looks even halfway decent
