Ran into a glitch where when I ran out of guys the screen just stayed as is and didnt take me back to the menu or anything. Had to tab out to kill the program.
Its simple, but I like the animations on the player character!
pretty straightfoward, only few complaints is that the sound effects vary too much in loudness and rope swingin doesnt feel particularly good
alsp every time i died to this one thing (not the others) on my last life the game just softlocked and when i die to it on my first it just games over instantly
I liked it. Only played game mode A and haven't touched the procedurally generated one yet.
I could definitely see the bonuses for sequential cards and card sets making for some pretty interesting score attack. Puzzling out what symbols did was fun too and the overall core of moving, dodging and collecting works well.
The sound for pausing/unpausing is a little loud.
I felt like it was a little jarring when the player touches a swinging rope and is snapped to the end of the rope.
I think I ran into one bug where after dying to the leftmost spikes, the game wouldn't transition to the game over screen. Unfortunately, I was not recording and have been unable to reproduce it.
Thanks for the feedback. Game B has a randomized stage progression, and the cards - while mostly in the same position - have their values randomized making for a unique game every game.
