Played a few games and survived a few waves and kill some boxers. The game is fun and fresh as a TD game. I like the gun squad and the strategy with the waves and their paths. It is definitely hard and easy to lose sometimes, perhaps lives would help the difficulty unless you want it to be hard.  The tutorial was well written and looked nice, I would even force it to be in the game on startup and have a skip button for those who have seen it before but it is really short which is good.  I look forward to more content and levels, great job so far! What do you plan on adding next?

Thanks for the feedback!
I think I will make the final version of the tutorial an introductory level the player has to complete (or at least start and skip) to get to the rest of the game, I noticed that the current "slideshow" how-to-play is inadequate, especially for players with little experience with strategy games

As for what's next, the next version will mostly focus on on QoL stuff, like moving all on-map buttons to the UI, and also a boss for level one. After that I think I'll add more levels but I've not decided yet

Great idea, I'm having fun after only a few minutes of playing. I'm definitely not good at it though. Only made it to the second wave after 4 plays. Keep at it!

thanks, hopefully a proper tutorial will smooth the learning curve down the road

Definitely an enjoyable game with an intriguing setting. Some more maps and an endless option would make this an excellent TD experience. The idea of mobile "towers" as squads of units is well explored here, and when combined with rigid garrison towers and barricades, gives the player a surprising amount of options . Squad movement being as limited as it is is an interesting realism mechanic, though way to swap lines 1:1 would be appreciated so you don't end up with an order of spearmen stuck in your base.

There are balance issues here and there, such as garrisons seem a bit too necessary to succeed. Unit control also cost me a run because I couldn't figure out how to exit it, and the AI is way better at aiming than me anyway.

The pixelwork on the individual units is quite excellent, the units are all easily identifiable at a glance which is remarkable considering the small size and realistic proportion of the characters. I can't wait to see the environments get the same loving treatment.

All being said, I give 55 Days: Gonna need one hell of a burn pit/10

Great feedback, the idea of swapping squads is an excellent and obvious one, I just implemented it and will be ready for the next version I upload. Thanks for the suggestion!

Really enjoyed playing this. I would definitely implement an endless mode, as well as an ability for your units to move freely to any zone, not just ones that are nearby. I did not try the single unit command mode, and I don't think you need it - in defense games like these I like to play armchair commander and watch my units mow down the enemy. I'm excited to see how this evolves!

Thanks for the feedback! I know the movement system is this game's weak point, I'll do my best to improve it as I go on.
