My experience could be described as follow

"I bet it's that one schizo horse game, I'll pass.

Wait, it doesn't look like that one, it must be some wholesome game about horses.

Yep, it's the schizo game."

Please add mouse options with sensitivity and turning off the smoothing. It really doesn't help with immersion.

It's... interesting overall. Horses have been ridden, and horses have been gibbed.

hey thanks for the feedback and thank you for playing my game. I've been working on tons of fixes and improvements based on what i've heard from this jam. mouse sensitivity and smoothing can be controlled through the settings now, and that will be in the next update for sure

-Doesn't scale properly to 16:10:

-Clicking the load button with no saves softlocks the game. Also, the transition is too slow.

-LMB should advance dialogue.

-Can't access the settings from the main menu.

-What is going on with the pause menu? The arrow keys can only take you to the top or bottom, while the mouse control is really finicky and lets you scroll past the options. Getting to the settings menu was a struggle. Just have a normal cursor.

-RMB should go back in menus.

-Get rid of the mouse smoothing.

-Movement speed needs to be faster and feels slippery.

-The titles of things like the tutorial messages are centered and overlap the body text.

-The face on the wall where you get the key is too high-resolution compared to everything else.

-The textures on the gondola are way lower-resolution than anything else.

-That statue after the gondola ride is way too high-poly.

-Let go of the wheel before turning it all the way (I think), and it wouldn't let me turn it again. Doesn't seem to do anythin, though.

-Game softlocked when I right clicked and the screen turned blue and two noise textures appeared. Right clicking after restarting the game doesn't do anything.

-Are the clouds supposed to follow the camera?

-When looking at a wheel, the prompt rapidly switches between "Interact" and "Turn - Hold".

-Why is E the only button that advances NPC dialogue?

-Selcting dialogue options is just as bad as the pause menu.

-The spell menu makes no sense. Is there supposed to be no cursor?

-How is the typing minigame supposed to work with a controller?

-Reticle stays on screen during loading screens.

-Performance in the forest is awful.

-Can't seem to throw the axe, and it only chops trees when it feels like it.

-Performance got an order of magnitude worse after chopping down a tree.

-Saving and restarting the game doesn't improve perfomance.

Had to stop playing there because my framerate was in the single digits. I couldn't even read signs because the text would start disappearing before it was even done showing all of it.

Hey thank you so much for the feedback and the suggestions! I hadn't seen a lot of those issues yet, so this will help me fix a lot of stuff.

I think a good chunk of those issues are all derived from the scaling problems. If you can, please give it a shot in 16:9 and see if that at least fixes some of the visual, ui, etc. problems
