It shouldn't be that much, can you check in taskmanager how much % it takes up of your CPU? Because its using ~15-20% on mine.

But it is currently running completely uncapped, so it should take what it can. I'll look into limiting its FPS. ( Also seems to have another memoryleak somewhere, I'll have to look for that aswell.)

I thought the romance story between the demon and the tree man was very sweet, but I don't understand why the dragon lord was there trying to feed them tomatoes.

Yep it's laggy, unresponsive and some screen elements seem entirely broken. You'd have to take a look at the source code to figure out what this is supposed to be doing in its current state.
