Once I figured it out it was fun trying to maneuver the owl to where I needed her to be. Took me two tries to beat the boss! I loved the dialogue especially; it was funny. Somehow the graphics reinforce the sincere authenticity of this game. The moment the dummy was revealed with the sound legitimately spooked me, like some EXE horror hack. So I carpet-bombed them into oblivion! Justice served!!! It made me scared and made me laugh, which is more than other games can boast. I like it a lot, actually.

This was a cute little game! I also had a bit of trouble getting it to work, but eventually did. Before I got it going, I managed to move her above the first log and clear the first screen lol. I think it's cool when people make action games in RPG Maker. Like, "you don't tell me what to do, name-of-software." This one in particular felt like it might be like a mini-game in a Final Fantasy game or something.

The pixel art was cute and the story was neat to follow! Very nice little experience. Wish it was longer!

That bug where it takes a few refreshes to get going is I think a bit more common than you think. You should also mention on your page to use Chrome; I tried and tried and got NOWHERE with Safari.

Really glad you enjoyed it! I absolutely love using RPG maker to make anything but an rpg lol. So much you can do with it.

I had originally planned out 3 separately themed mini-worlds each with a simple level or two but got so busy with work I had way less time to make everything than expected.

I will definitely add the thing about Chrome I had never tested it on safari. It's strange how playing web browser games on various browsers always results in varying experiences. Thank you so much for the feedback!

edit: I found the bug!! An event wasn't firing a certain part sometimes, so I went ahead and added it to a second event and it all seems to be working!

Only a few keys seem to be working for me. I read the description and tried reloading a few times but was not able to move or switch directions. Not sure whats going on but I'm just getting stuck on the first tree.

What web browser are you using (or did you download it)? Tested it in chrome and edge and refreshing the page itself solves it. Also what keys are working?

After a while of resetting it finally worked. Seems like it breaks more often than not. It would also break after I died so not sure whats causing that. The game is quite fun though. I like the story and how the player flies. Although sometimes when I hit a button to go up or down it just doesn't work. Its not often but when it happens its annoying. The crows work fine and are a good enemy. Maybe giving the crows a slightly bigger hitbox could help as sometimes the eggs would hit the crow slightly but still not kill it. The art looks nice and same with the music. Overall great small game but could use a few small changes/bug fixes.

Glad it finally worked! Strange it happens more often. In my experience and from what others have told me it's more rare. I have no idea what causes it though so that's a shame.

I had increased the crows hitbox at the last minute but didn't get to test it as thoroughly as I would've liked to so I will definitely be fixing that. Due to the way it's implemented the up/down has to be held to move. Hoping to find a solution for that though.

Thank you for the feedback it really helps! I'll try to go through and make some fixes at a later time.
