This was an a-ma-zing accomplishment, congratulations to the team! You managed to push the engine to its limits, great story, atmosphere, puzzles, original art, setting in just 3 days 👏 I can't even begin to imagine what you would have created if Arcweave had more features for you to explore 😊 Beautiful work!

Thank you so much!!!

We are very very happy that you liked the game more and that you could see how much we pushed the engine to its limits 😊 Maybe you'll be able to see it in a next jam!

Congratulations on your success!

I enjoyed this so much.  I loved the code puzzle and the concept of the world to incorporate the theme.  The only thing I wish it did was have a New Game Plus option at the end that saved what you deciphered in the translation codex for a second playthrough.  It was so hard to navigate outside without being able to update the codex, but I figured it all out and then didn't get the opportunity to update the codex before the final score!  All in all, really fun challenge and fantastically coded for being done as a part of the jam.  I would love to see more.

Thank you so much!

We were just thinking about this "New Game Plus" option but felt it would distort the game experience too much. I understand that it can be annoying to re-assign letters (believe me, I've done it many times) but the translation and registration are synchronized with the progress.

For the outdoor game, that was the goal. The difficulty of navigation outside decreases according to the number of letters translated inside. There is also a coherence with the story: if you are in the middle of a chase you can't take the time to set the translator with your hands.

Thanks a lot, we had a lot of fun coding this. The experience was great and we are already coding a new one!

First, your drawings are awesome ! I also really like the mechanic of the codex, but unfortunately, I didn't managed to finish it, I was stuck and didn't know how to keep going.

Hi, thx you very much for having played our game! I'm glad that you love the mechanic and our artist thxs you for the compliment. We tried making a game that doesn't hold the player by the hand. If you would be willing to give it another try, tell us where you were stuck and we will drop a hint, it'ld be cool if you could enjoy the game and the art to the fullest from beginning to end. ;)

After many tries, I did it ! To explain, I was stuck when I was in security room (I press some buttons with one translated but I didn't get what they really did (especially the hangar door).
I really like the ending and it was fun to play !

Congrats !

In case others were to read this message, the description of what happens with each button is related to the description of security cameras.

I don't know if you caught it throughout your attempts, but there are two endings possible (One where you escape, one where you get caught), and I've added an achievement system based on the completion of your Codex. We're curious about the ending and the achievement you've gotten.

We're glad you gave our game another try and are happy you've had fun with it !
