  • Great understanding of scope! It is a well thought-out game with a clear beginning and end a well defined game loop. These make the game addictive and repayable. I loved the art direction and the use of the toon shader to make the game loop polished. It would be nice if we could see the actual egg through the camera to understand more that you are trying to protect it. overall great game and good job! :D
  • Solid atmosphere and art direction. The choice of colour palette was consistent throughout. There was a hint of character establishment at the outset, but I'd like to have gotten a better view of the player-character. The enemy animation was well done. There were a few visual issues with overdraw on the background effects. Gameplay-wise, the immediate goal was hard to determine until my first death, and there was plenty to gain with innovation. Controls were responsive. Good work!
  • I love all things Lovecraftian so this was a delight for me. I really liked that you tried to put the theme front and center of the game, even if it was not very well explained within the game itself. Some more variation to the level I think would really improve the game and make it a bit more dynamic. Being able to use some environment to help block and navigate around the enemies would be great!
  • Very fun & creative idea- gave me Maniac Mansion Day of the Tentacle vibes! Really great opening with music and camera setting the tone. General gameplay goals not super clear, but the general loop seems solid. Appreciate the stylistic touches of the menus and HUD.
  • Reminiscent of Doom, except I can't fight back :p, great work on the animation and nice use of shaders, the only thing I would look for is an addition mechanic or two to prevent me from taking damage (it doesn't feel to great to just be able to dodge!)

Wow. Cutscenes looked great. I appreciate an Audio On/Off setting. Settings often get overlooked in jams, but they're nice when they're around. Don't really have much feedback! Stellar job.
