- Interesting take on 'flappy bird', good basic first project, but doesn't take enough risks to stand out!
- I love your interpretation of the theme: a dragon (great power) who is food conscious. I had no idea when I first started playing it (probably should have read the title :D) and had a good laugh when the seagull killed me. The control mechanics are smooth, and was a good implementation of a "flappy-dragon infinite flyer". It felt intuitive and easy to control. You also had a full game loop, and I ended up playing through it multiple times to maximize my score, which is the appeal of this style of game. Visuals and audio are going to bring this game up to the next level. Consider adding audio cues when the dragon flaps, etc. Simple animations for the dragon and birds, and also a layer of feedback via particle effects when the dragon eats a melon. Great work!
- This seems like a lovely learner project for Unity. I thought the theme was funny and a mastery of the basics of controls, level structure, etc. was sound. Many opportunities to expand and build out structure and functionality, as well as to make state changes smoother as opposed to sudden, but all in all a great take on the challenge.
- Coming into a game jam for the first time can always be a little intimidating, but seeing you guys jump into a new engine and learn as you went is great! The audio is jammin and the game itself is complete which is always a challenge no matter how much time you have. The click-to-fly mechanic is a great simple mechanic that tends to be a solid foundation for a game. Should you choose to keep working at this I recommend looking into adding some animation to your characters and provide a start screen with a bit of an intro to the game and how to play.
- Your team did a very good job understanding the scope of the game jam by also understanding your limitations as first time game developers. Although the game is missing polish in the art because the sprites are a bit clashing with the background and could use some animation, the game feels complete, repayable and fun. Knowing that you had fun making the game is in my opinion the best way to approach a game jam as it creates a good experience for you and your teammates, so please continue with that mind set for any other game jam you participate in the future! Good job :D

The irony of the vegetarian dragon was funny! great job!
music is kind of loud
Funny interpretation of the theme. Maybe try to make sure the watermelons cannot spawn on the seagulls in the future or make sure the seagull is brought to front. Saw a watermelon with wings during the presentation haha. Good job overall!
