THE BEST Game in your engine
I wanna make game a game in that engine too

I enjoyed this, and the fact that it's your own engine is incredible! It would be nice if the player had any incentive to use any of the charge types except the biggest, for instance you aren't allowed to hit the top of the screen either so that you have to choose in the moment which jump strength to use. I enjoyed this!

The only thing that people are impressed by is that this was made in my game engine lol, but I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I can make out that, from this entire comment section, people are generally happy with the controls and the main mechanic, which is really surprising since this game was made in ~5 hours. Thanks for the review!

The idea and mechanic are fun and engaging and make it easy to play this game for a while. However, this could use some polish. I know you made your own game engine so I'm not complaining about the lack of sound. Overall, it I had a good experience and didn't follow step 5 of the install instructions. I'm genuinely impressed and look forward to the future of your game engine.

I didn't really polish the game since this was just a scrappy test game made in ~5 hours, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Great idea, simple and well-executed.  The movement and mechanics were consistent and reliable.

Some sound would be a great addition and I think being able to charge up while you're in the air for the faster moving platforms would be cool.

I saw Winsom say this was made in your own engine? That's nuts.

Nice work :)

Thanks!
I didn't add sound because it hasn't been implemented in my engine yet, but I might consider making an updated version if I have nothing else to do. Apparently a lot of people like the mechanics and controls, idk why because that was the lowest-effort part of the game. Good job on your entry too!

core gameplay loop is quite fun and replayable, it could obviously use something on the visual and audial side of things but game is fun, and really impressive that this is your own engine!

Cool little game!

So the controls are nice, the idea is very good, the camera position is interesting.

I'm pretty sure you made the game  in like 5 hours maybe :), it's not that optimized and it's a really simple game, that's not a bad thing actually.

It's really cool for a one day game, not that great as a game in general, but I enjoyed it!

Good job and keep up the good work! :D

This was more of a test game for my game engine than anything else, and yes, I made this just today. I haven't thought about the mechanic that much, but apparently I got lucky lol. Thanks for the review!
