This game is one of the most professional games I've played! Great job! Also the particle effects were amazing!

Hey. I recorded a video about the Beginners Circle jam and included your game in it. I enjoyed playing your project. It is a very hard game with interesting ways to go through levels. I wish it had any health items or more powers. I did not find any bugs or issues so far. Great job. If you want to cut your game out of the video, let me know. However, if you like the video, I make similar videos every day. I will be happy if you subscribe. Anyway, I enjoyed playing your game.

This was good. I really loved the slowdown when you died or won. As another commenter pointed out, tapping the spacebar is just as fast as holding the spacebar to shoot, so you're encouraged to simply hold the spacebar. I would have liked the ability to rapidly hit the spacebar to shoot faster. Overall, really cool.

Nice game, the candy explosion are great and we don't even talk about our spaceship's explosion, it's really well made ! :)

The enemy patterns are predictable, they are also clearly visible by contrasting their colors with the background, good job !

I would leave just a little game design tip (though I'm not an expert at all) : Since we need to keep the spacebar pressed in order to shoot, and there is no penalty when shooting indefinitely, I suggest you to put an option to auto-shoot without the need of pressing anything. It's quite convenient for disabled players for example.

First of all, I love the concept of a spaceship fighting a bunch of piñatas lol. The ship is easy and fun to control, the exposion animation looks great and the 'plop' sound effect is super satisfying. In my opinion the music is a little too epic for a light hearted game like this, but thats absolutely a design choice. Very fun game!

The enemies have good patterns and the explosion effect is cool. I would have played it for longer if the background didn't move so fast, I got dizzy. Good job!

Thanks for playing and the feedback! Cheers!

Those particles are awesome :)

Developer

Thanks! The particles were the first thing I made, then i had to figure out a game to go with them.
