Music, graphism and gameplay are very nice. It was fun. Keeps the good work. For the thematic, it was almost that.

Developer

Thanks so much for playing the game! <3

good stuff, love the pixel art and animations, ,music and the physics were pretty solid too.

Developer

Thanks, glad u liked it! :D

Love everything about it :)

Developer

Thanks! :D

Firstly, I liked the art and music; the game was fun and had pretty clear instructions on what to do. I suck at platformers so I only got to level 8 before ragequitting because of the spikes which would be my only criticism - they're quite hard to see and blend in with the background (or I'm just blind), also the enemies changing direction whenever I got near them was annoying. I ended up just spamming W mid-jump near a door and praying it swapped levels asdfgjgfskdfsdk.  ♡♡

Hahahaha, I'm sorry if you had a bad experience with it. I wasn't able to focus on working with the spikes and I didn't know the enemies were hard to deal with but despite that, I'm glad you enjoyed my game and I'll take your feedback for my future games! ;D

Thanks for playing my game!

The art style sound and music are great. Gameplay is fun but the level design is a little bit weird(for example like terrein or enemies are on the left but your way to next level is on the right) and AI was little annoying with there sudden directon change, but still a Nice Game!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Yeah, there were so much flows with my level designing. I'm just starting out but your feedback is appreciated a lot and I'm glad you enjoyed my game!

I also might try adjusting the enemy movemnt, we'll see what I can do! Thanks for playing my game! :D

No Problem ;D

Graphics are pretty solid, but perhaps in your level design, avoid placing the enemy VERY nearby the door as this would count (for me) as a bull-headed move from the designer. The difficulty is similar to every other platformer in the world, so you got nothing to worry about for that one.

Though,  you should try to make the spikes pop up more with a shine animation on them or something.

Just a nitpick here, in the credits, the labels are not centered! >.<

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Haha, yeah I'm sorry if it was something annoying for you, I'm still learning how to work with level designing but I'll try to avoid those next time in my future games. I also should've added more details to the spike but I I didn't have the time for it.

Sorry, if the alignment of the labels triggered you, I actually thought it was centered. XD

Thanks for playing, though! :D

It's okay, as long as you are learning the process of making a game! Yeah, don't pay attention too much to my nitpick, just see it as a small minor worry. Nonetheless, happy to give feedback! :D

This was nice! Though A few comments on the visuals:

  • The reference resolutions for the assets weren't designed consistently. The slime sprites don't match the pixel size of the other sprites. It's a very important aspect of designing pixel art for games to match the pixel ratios of every asset. Though the slimes themselves looked pretty!
  • The spikes would blend into the background sometimes. This made it hard to properly navigate through a level on the first try. An outline on the spikes would have helped with this immensely.
  • Although it may have been a stylistic choice, try and avoid jaggies and stray pixels in the art! This can be seen everywhere on the background assets,

I did enjoy the music though! As well as the color palette you used for this, nice and vibrant :D Movement took some getting used to, but it's on the right track! Good work.

I'm glad you liked the art of the game, I was struggling to find a good design for it. I'm sorry if you had some difficulty playing my game I guess playing it too much made me think it's easy haha but I'd take your advice and improve it on my future games!

didn't get too far but it's a fun little platformer but I wish I could kill the slimes and some of the spikes blended too well with the ground so it became a little annoying to get through levels and lastly the music was a little too loud off the bat and continued to hurt my ears as I played.

Developer(+1)

Firstly, I apologized if it destroyed your ears, I didn't know it was that loud! I also didn't add the "player could kill slimes" cause it would be easier to finish if the player did, but yeah I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing my game!
