Cute pixel art. Nice music. Great fx sounds. Good feel to the controls. The only two things I  thought I might like is if the screen wasn't zoomed in quite so much so I can see the ground when I'm jumping. Also the two platforms in the first area that are up in the tree are the same shade as the tree so easy to miss.  Maybe a color shift, or moving the tree would be appropriate. Otherwise it's a pretty solid platformer.

Thanks for your input, a couple of people have said that the camera was too zoomed in and that they couldn't see some of the platforms below them. I'm currently working on fixing this :)

Nice pixel art, but honestly limited lives ruin the game, i couldn't complete it in 5 min (not even 15 minutes for sure) and that's bad not only in a game jam with 340 entries, but in general because it's frustrating.

I was going to add charging(gives you a life back), but I thought it would be too easy... Sorry if the limited lives took some of the fun away. :)

Ok, i understand. Hope it goes well though.

I love the retro-art, however, there is one complain with the control and it is always a mistake in the platformer game that developer always seems to ignore. You cannot see the platform underneath when you're jumping and this sometimes makes it difficult.

Other than that? Probably the enemies collision shapes, as it sometimes looks that the player didn't even touch the enemy and they died. It's a nice game nonetheless!

love the art my guy. The controls felt nice.  however i did have moments when i wanted to see what was below my character and where i was jumping to. Very nice game!
