Liked the twist on both tower defense and the theme, it's a cool idea to make the person, not the contestant but instead the evil host.

The placing buttons felt a little unresponsive and I believe the far-right ground one was broken as I couldn't get it to work but that might just be user error, one thing that I suggest adding is the ability for the player to speed up time just because once I put down all my towers it's kinda tedious to wait 45 more seconds but those are hard to add I'm sure so I understand why you didn't have one. Besides that great job :)

Love how you reinvented the tower defense.

It was not always clear why I couldn’t add a new item even if the timer said it was ok.

I had fun.

Thanks and I would love to see it polished.

I thought it was a really good idea. You took a tower defense game and made it a "deadly" gameshow. I enjoyed being able to place my obstacles and traps in various areas. I did feel like at times though the timer was too long and I found myself just sitting there watching the same thing happen until time ran out.

But I love the idea, it was engaging for a couple of levels and I think if maybe I didn't have issues with placing the objects sometimes and the controls were a little smoother/more responsive, it would have been twice as engaging.

Well done!

The idea of a tower defense game, where you buy equipment with views is pretty neat, that got a chuckle out of them.

I like the blueprint background too, cool idea.

I like the pixelated style of the enemies, but it doesn't really fit with the background.

I wish the numbers would have spaces and commas, eg 20,000 views.
I also wish the prices were lower, when a cost is 20k views it takes a me a while to realize if I can afford it or not, especially when the view numbers are bunched up together without spaces and/or commas.

I had issues with selecting what trap I wanted to place, I'd have all 3 selected and I couldn't unselect the other two, so I had no idea what's gonna get placed down.

Also, the yellow squares where you can place traps, should stand out more and should be more different looking. They blend in too much.

Good effort, would like to see the game polished up!

Thanks, Martin for the honest review, it really means a lot. I really need to work on the UI aspect of the games. Before the submission, I presented the game to my brother and literally said the exact same thing about the views counter (should have listened to him). This first game jam made me realize the real complexity of developing a  game in such a short period of time.
