Gets hard when scrolls begin satisfying password requirements, i enjoyed it
Thanks for playing!
Awesome SFX! It was annoying for mee too that I couldn't fix my misspellings
Glad you liked the SFX!
Honestly art is the toughest aspect about game development for me (besides game design) so I'm glad it turned out OK
Yeah the misspelling being an issue definitely is a surprise for me, should've probably asked other people to play the game before submitting it, but now I know :)
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
Loved it! it was like trying to solve a captcha! It was pretty funny that the background just turns to black as you go on, I couldn't see my score anymore/. My only pet peeve is that you couldn't delete the letters in case of a mistake. (mentioned by another comment).
Glad you enjoyed the game!
LOL midway through the jam I thought the connection to the theme might be too loose so I tried to create the feeling of going deeper into forbidden knowledge and also add some personality to the game
The inability to delete letters definitely gets more critic than I thought
I think the penalty for a mistake may be too much. Aside from adding the option to delete letters maybe I should have added a skip option in order to balance challenge with flow or something along these lines
Glad I could learn from that
Thanks for playing and for your feedback!
Cool game! I just wish I would be able to delete my letters in case of typing mistake :-)
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
Actually that was intentional, after all a whisper uttered cannot be unuttered :)
From game design perspective though, I did consider this when making the game and thought it would be more challenging if in addition to being fast, the player would also need to be accurate
If I had time to add difficulty modification features I would've definitely added this
This is great! It felt like when you forget your password and keep trying to guess it.
LOL
It didn't occur to me actually but that's an interesting way to think about it, in a way guessing passwords can definitely be a game (perhaps other people's, just as a game of course)
Hope this game wasn't as stressful as forgetting your password though :)
Thanks for playing!
It was fun! It made me laugh when the spells started looking like the machine-generated passwords 😂
Cute 'n creepy typing mini-game. Liked the SFX.
Thanks for playing!
