Loved the artstyle! I agree with the other comments (Drill was slow , Monsters were hard to come by,).
Loved the monster art! Pace was somewhat slow overall but otherwise cool game :)
Great job for your first jam! Tell Aira the monsters and character are really cool! I think I would appreciate if I could place torches to see more, otherwise, visibility is really low. I dug straight down for like 2 minutes before I met an enemy. Great work!

I found the character a bit slow, I didn't hear the sound of the game, the problem may be with my PC
