Haha, as we all do. I’m learning to photosynthesize though!

Hi!
My team and I are developing a tactics-style roguelike with gameplay in a pixel art style. Our primary pixel artist specializes in humanoids and we are looking for someone who can create ENVIRONMENT sprites and animations for things like plants, trees, bushes, cave rocks. Bonus points if you can do creatures, too! You can see screenshots of the game project here.
We created the game as a project for a jam and now our goal is to complete and release the game on Steam.
You can find our WIP Game Design Document here, but I can share more about the project if you message me here or on Discord at balt_
Hey! Your music is so evocative! My team and I are working on a tactics roguelike rpg that takes place in a magical underground cave forest. We're a small team of 4 (character artist, designer/programmer, storywriter, and sound designer) and we made a small game for a one-week jam that we want to complete and publish on Steam. You can find it here. We're looking for someone who can make orchestral tracks with a medieval fantasy setting. We're not offering any compensation, but I would love to talk more if you're interested!
Feel free to add me on Discord: balt_

Hi! Your work is very flavorful and I love the grounded feel of traditional watercolor. My team and I are making a tactics style roguelike game and we're looking for someone who can create backdrops/scenes. The game's overall visual style is pixel art but I would love to explore the possibility of using watercolor for establishing environment and setting. I'm imagining backdrops for dialogue, title screens, loading screens, etc. The game started as a project for a game jam and we want to publish it as a complete game on Steam. The game is mostly set in a magical underground cave forest. It's linked here.

Black hole looks so pretty! I think the stars are shooting the wrong way if you want them to help it look like we're falling. As a physics teacher, I was super weirded out by the objects flying a way from the black hole. They would get sucked in too! Like others said, I would've liked to be able to move more. I couldn't even tell I was falling in the beginning because there was no feedback for my motion. Definitely a a good foundation!
Hey guys, nice game! Because there was no time limit (maybe you could do an oxygen level), I did not feel inclined to take any action that wasn't free. I found myself doing the +100 depth most of the time because I didn't want to lose HP or resources. I felt that was the best option because since there is no rush, that's the most efficient option. I got to 4,700m!
Hi! Nice little game. Since you can't really move side-to-side that much, I actually felt like being x2 bigger was worse for me because I was just eating more rocks. The second time I played, I had the great idea of skipping x2 and going straight to the gold digger, but the game doesn't let you do that! I also wish I could go up and around instead of only downward with a few degrees left or right. Because of the low mobility, it just feels like I have no control, and if a chunk of gold spawns, great, but otherwise I just die because of bad luck. Otherwise, great potential!
Hey! Cool idea for the theme. I solved it in the end, but I would've really appreciated it if the file explorer shortcuts worked here. Like backspace to go back a folder or enter to open. I wished minimizing actually minimized. Sometimes closing a window closed the parent folder (I assume that's the way it's scripted). Cool idea and nice execution!
Great job creating the vapor-wave vibe. I think the pink and blue energy floors were an interesting mechanic, however, I think it was very hard to lose the game though. The remaining steps is way too high. I played twice and even if I wasted steps I had like 170 steps left. I would revisit that number to try to make it challenging! Maybe find the most optimal path, and limit the steps to a little greater than the steps required to play perfectly. Great job!
Interesting foundation for a game. I wish there was more reason to use the flying, it was fun but not very useful. I wish there was more narrative to help me know where I'm going and why I'm shooting the baddies. Am I rescuing someone trapped in a cave? Good job!
