Man, that was fun. Very creative and the sound of the game was spot on. Im going to have to save this one for later.

love that its a grave digging lol. really cool mechanics all working together, took me a couple runs before realizing using the guns was for more than trying to shoot the enemies, with a bit more polish this would be very very addicting!
It's a very fun combination of mechanics. My drill eventually got stuck and I didn't make it all the way to hell. I had great time figuring out the game mechanics and putting it all together. Great job!
Really cool game. Love the digging and shooting mechanics. The guns wouldn't unlock for me tho. Either way, really fun game and super unique mechanics :p
I've never encountered this bug before. Did you have a high enough balance? And what browser were you using?
Edit: I've tested it on Firefox, Chrome, and Edge, and have been able to purchase the guns.
I was able to purchase the gun but it didn't change the gun in the coffin. Perhaps it's a bug on my end only lol
Use Q and E to switch guns. It's in the game's controls page.
I probably should have made it so the game automatically switches to the most recently purchased gun, sorry for the confusion.

This game is really fun, I liked the idea, its very cool. It reminds me of making a hellavator in terraria. Maybe there could be a button to surface before your energy runs out [Edit: sorry, there is a surfaace button, but its not super visible]? But I really enjoyed it, well done:)

Also sorry about the grind. I set the shop prices a few hours before the jam was over, so I didn't have much time for play tests. If you focus on getting the tommy gun and a few speed upgrades it's pretty easy to dig deep enough to find tons of diamonds in each run which drastically lessens the grind though.
Great job with the mechanics, I enjoyed it. Only problem is that it's a bit of a grind to get enough money to buy the speed and energy upgrades. Also, I didn't even buy weapons. Otherwise, it's a great game
I'd definitely recommend buying the tommy gun, it opens up a lot of movement possibilities.

Ok, I honestly lost track of time playing this game. I'm embarrassed to say how long it took me to reach the end, but I had a blast the whole time. There were a couple times I got stuck, but knowing you could propel yourself with your gun made this just kind of a slight annoyance rather than a game breaker. Really great job!

There is an upper limit, but it's so fast that any faster and you'd basically be in a free fall.

Also good to hear you thought it fit the theme. I spent the entire development period second guessing the game because I wasn't sure if it did.
I didn't think I would ever see a gun wielding drill coffin, but here we are lol. I enjoyed my little adventure down to hell. The different move combos you can pull off with the gun and drill are really fun and silly. The controls took quite some time to learn tho. Definitely a cool game!
