Interesting idea. The music was a bit much, but turning the volume down some would help a lot.

Probably my favourite art of the whole jam, really really nice work on that. I love the animation on the mining too. Sounds are nice but a bit repetitive, but overall the atmosphere is great!

This game caught me off guard. To be completely honest I wasn't expecting much after the first few seconds since it seemed like it was just going to be a short, hastily cobbled together platformer without much attention to detail. I was absolutely not expecting such a well made environment in the graveyard. Remarkably good visuals and atmosphere, really great use of colour too, well done.

Nice work with light and pixel art

Thanks! It was my first time doing pixel art, so I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. Watched a lot of tutorials 😅

Cool little game. I speed ran it. FYI, I don’t think the level is completely resetting after you die. The cage I broke on the second attempt was already broken when I came past in the second run.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! That was kind of intentional. My idea was that you can go slightly faster the second time around. The monsters also don’t reset, they just walk back to their spawn point. The other gates do reopen because otherwise you would be stuck 😅

But if I started from scratch maybe I would change that and lean more into making a speed-run level 🤔

Maybe next time!
