The UI was giant on my pc, I don't know why.

Nice graphics, cool idea and nice sound effect.

Thanks for the feedback. The UI issue comes from the fact that there currently is no easy way of scaling the UI in bevy, so it is recommended to play the game fullscreen. If you are playing fullscreen and the UI is still too large, try scaling the browser page down, the UI should get smaller (The game will notice the change in scale after you re-enter fullscreen mode or resize the browser window).

Yeah, looks way better. Thanks.

The game sounds great and it slowly got me hooked. Especially while the difficulty got harder and harder :)

Thanks for the feedback!

My unfair advantage is to go in a corner and shoot straight ^^ I really like the sfx by the way

Developer(+1)

Well, you've found the ultimate strategy (As long as no penguins spawn on top of you). The sound effects were generated using jsfxr (Like sfxr, but in browser)

Thanks! I was looking for an alternative for linux! You made my day :)

I appreciate that the enemies spawn in slowly giving you time to react. I think the difficulty should ramp up more quickly, because as-is, it's pretty easy and a bit of a chore to get back to the challenging part. A simple change like that could get more longevity out of the game. Nice work, though!

Got it, thanks

Does the game get harder after a while? I played for a bit but it was fairly trivial to not die

Developer

It should be trivial at first, but after about 100 enemies (Or less) they should be spawning each half a second. If you've reached that point and found it easy, I could decrease the limit and make the spawn interval decrease faster
