Woof woof. Woof woof woof woof. Woof, woof woof?
I like the concept behind the control mechanic where you "influence" but don't directly control movement. As others have commented it's a little confusing without the feedback of smooth animation though.
Your doggy picture marketing worked on me. :)
Thanks a lot for your feedback! Dogs are the best :)
This idea is fun, it could be great to reset the next position square to the middle position each turn (to avoid double tapping everytime)
This feedback is very precious as I wasn't sure about it. Initially, it was like this - position resets to the middle after each turn. But one of my testers suggested changing it to not resetting, and I decided to go with it without proper check. I agree that resetting will be better since I will add a higher range in the following levels.
It would be nice to have a smooth animation effect.
Thanks for your feedback! I agree. It was even on my list.
Pretty cool, I really like it. First, I couldn’t quite imagine what this is going to be like from the description and title. Positively surprised.
I would agree with the UI. Especially on Level 3 after one stays in place. The Up press seems to teleport one too far up.
Thank you for such kind words.
Yes! If I only have 10 minutes more before the submission the teleport bug would be fixed as it was pretty easy. Jamers gonna jam :)
Honestly the gameplay is there. But the UI could be more explicit. At first I thought this was like Tetris. Ah too bad you couldn't get further with it.
That's exactly how I feel. A few hours more, and it could look much better. Thanks for your kind words. It encourages me to work on it further after all :)
At first I thought the movement was odd but it actually pretty fun. I think it would feel really good with some better presentation.
I thought this was some commentary on how dogs can only see one step ahead of them but then it quickly proved me wrong. I think it's interesting, but getting into a situation where it's only red in front of you seems pretty common. The levels are fairly straightforward if you tank the red when you have to, but it feels unsatisfying to do that. Having fewer reds in general would make it more satisfying to play.
