This was a fun fast-paced survival game! I really enjoyed how hard mode added increased enemy variety, it felt rewarding to try out the different difficulty levels. I also like the variety in the upgrades, so the player can explore different builds.
I do feel like it was more difficult than I expected to gain money in hard mode. I think especially with the faster and higher-damaging enemies, I felt like I had much less time to get any upgrades before my health got low.
Additionally, I think it would be nice if there was a visual indicator of where enemies will spawn in, since enemies can spawn even when you are close to a spawn point.
Overall, I liked playing this game, and it had some good replayability.
I liked it, the gunplay actually felt pretty satisfying with the sounds and the way the shells dropped.
some feedback:
1. the audio seemed to be rooted in space, so as you moved around the music would move all over the stereo field, making a very weird experience in headphones
2. since enemies dont drop money and the money is instead a pickup it didnt feel like there was much reason to kill the enemies, i found myself just running by them to grab the $ to afford an upgrade i was close to. i think enemies dropping a little money would be cool.
3. the weapon variety and feel was really really good.
Neat game!
Kinda souls-like in that it's stupid hard but what you're supposed to do is so basic that you can't help but feel responsible for your own failures so you just try to git gud XD.
I think reload time was too slow and I'm not sure how you handled the gunshots but the accuracy felt really off.
