How does your game represent Mode?
Painto, the paint-eating monster, changes character modes based on the statistical mode of colors in his stomach.
For example, if his stomach contains mostly red paint (statistical mode), then he becomes red (character mode), which allows him to phase through red doors.

Love the 2d Characters in the 3d Space. They look pretty awesome :)
There are a lot of color themed games in this jam but I think the idea of using colors as ammo and dumping them to change colors yourself is really cool and deserves praise. This game was a bit confusing at first but the use of voices to explain weaknesses is both helpful and charming. Overall, well done!
Loved this mouse eating paint animation!
The concept is good, it has great potential. Keep up like that!
While matching colors is a simple concept, there's some cool mechanics here like having to manage the colors of paint in your stomach to pass through barriers and deal with enemies as the same time. Also, hands down has the best voice acting of any game so far.
I like the ui alot! All the illustrated characters gave the game some great personality.
i love all the voicelines, gives the game a lot of character. the paint eating mechanic is pretty interesting. pretty good overall.
It was a pretty fun game. Honestly my brain associated it with a doom style game of don't stop running and gunning. The voice lines were a fun addition too
Thanks! That's what we were going for--with a bit of puzzling :)
Voice lines are great. General concept and bottom left creature is funny. A bit hard/punishing level 2 and 3
"You'll have to match the colors to kill me." Love all the sounds effects and voice lines :) Fun game, great job!
