Prototype plays like a prototype, but I'm seeing a lot of potential here. The hand-drawn look is neat.
I particularly enjoy putting the pressure on the player to cock the gun between each shot*, although I'm finding only loading one shell per press of the R button just a little too sadistic when you're also trying to keep moving 😣

* It's like a happy medium between an arena FPS and the meticulous thing the Receiver games are doing
I like the artstyle but it is really hard to play, couldn't even kill first wave of monsters
Thank you! Yeah, I overtuned difficulty waay too much. I added reloading at the last possible moment, as I planned for R to switch to a random weapon instead, but didn't have enough time to implement anything other than another shotgun, and now the game is too damn hard
I'm actually quite into the idea of an FPS with only the one weapon... 🤔
I guess reloading after every shoot is nice but you have not enough time to reload with R after empty magazine, youre idea with another gun is great but if it will automatically reload after some time when you don;t use the gun.

I like the choice of colors! Also, the shooting feels nice. Traversing the rocks was tricky though, I ended up in the lava a few times :p
