Nice work for just 2 days!
Pretty solid gameplay overall, had some trouble sometime to know if I were moving or standing still, some kind of static background like a grid or similar would've helped with that.
As others have said, some music would've been nice, but overall pretty solid.
Would've loved some sceenshake also!

Fantastic foundation, feels incomplete. Graphics and sound effects are phenomenal but it needs more work to be a full experience imo, which based on how good it is now, I would highly recommend doing. Some suggestions:

- Include more of an incentive for taking lots of light bulbs at a time since at the moment I can basically just take one at a time and do infinitely better than taking multiple. I would suggest a permanent damage boost or some kind of powerup.

- Include speedy homing enemies or projectiles or just something which stops me from just running away and shooting and winning as a result of repeating this process.

- More offensive options, be that different weapon types, abilities, whatever.

This is a great start and a solid experience  (I love the mechanic of stacking waves on top of each other especially) and I think adding more features would make it a fantastic game. Not saying this all should have been done within the confines of the jam because that would be ridiculous, but I do feel like the game is slightly lacking in depth as a result of being so barren, and I would recommend expanding on it after the jam is over.

I did put a score multiplier for picking up bulbs, but the duration seems to be too less to notice.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm glad people are enjoying it. I didn't really plan on building this further, but I think now I will make this into a full game.

The death particles are SUPER cool! few things to take this game to the next level. Maybe after a few ideas, you can add a bigger one, which could be a temporary powerup. Or even a burst shot with the rmb that has a cooldown. An awesome dubstep soundtrack would do loads for this game. Also camera shake for each bullet would give them more impact. Overall this game is definitely a good start for something much more though!

I didn't have too much time to add those extra features. I had only 2 days to make this. I wanted to add music, but I had absolutely no idea how to make some.

Will probably add for the future.

I totally understand, I actually joined the jam with about 24hrs left, so the struggle was real :P .. For 2 days you did a really good job! As far as music goes there are several free music programs you can use. I use fl studio 8 for all my sound effects / music. It's expensive, but you can get a free trial that doesn't end, or have any limitations.

I love it the concept of "with each idea comes new bugs and errors very fun but in my opinion the character movement is a bit slow for the aim but i really enjoyed it :) i kept on collecting new ideas but i just ended up getting destroyed XD
