Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.

i like the game

The art style is so simple, and the sound effects are so satisfying. The splitting on the spikes were a little bit glitch-y, but good game!

The game is super fun, but I think it should be a little more difficult. The game has a lot of potential and would like to see a full version with lots of tricky puzzles.

Great puzzler. I love the part where the different colored balls combine and separate.

Thanks for playing!

Great game! I really liked the simplistic visuals and core-splitting mechanics. The puzzles were also designed really well! Sometimes when the balls split apart they would join back together straight away, maybe their could be a timer for a few milliseconds after they've split before they can join again? Really nice polish on the dragging mechanics like continuous dragging! Overall, the is a great jam entry!

Developer

Thanks for the comment!  There is a short timer to prevent rejoining already, but I guess I need to increase that time.

I like how you teach the player over time, like one big tutorial, makes it a really approachable experience. I think you did a a great job on the design there!

Developer(+1)

Thanks!  One of my main goals was for the tutorial to be a natural part of the game, so I am glad to hear that you felt that way.

Really good game, Good ideas, levels, and polish!

Consider making this a mobile game if you add more levels?

Thanks for the comment!  I think this game could be adapted into a mobile game quite nicely and I may have to do that some day.

I'd imagine its possible in other engines.  Basically what I did was scale the sprite along the y axis and rotate it such that the sprite's x axis pointed along the direction of the ball's velocity.  I also determined the magnitude of the scale from the magnitude of the ball's velocity.
