Like that green BG, my eyes felt relax

I like the way this game took on the theme.  The visuals were nice and simple and the animations were good too.  The game itself was easy enough to understand, though I wish the controls were a bit simpler (maybe just keyboard controls).

Good job!

Love the visual aesthetics of this game, reminded me of a 64bit Diner Dash, but hosted in a garden centre apposed to a cafe. I'd recommend having easier to control, for example using space for both pickups and drop, as using the mouse and spacebar felt a little bit clunky. That and maybe slowing the gameplay down a little bit as it ramped up in difficulty quite quickly. However, for your first jam submission, this was a great game, I found it super cute!

At first I didn't know how to play but I went to your page and found the controls!

The art was super cute and loved the little noise the guys made when you dismissed them!

Really good game and neat idea how the boxes light on fire lol FireSale! Nice job!

If you don't mind checking mine out when you get a chance!

Thank you so much for playing! Next time I'll make sure to put the instructions in the game itself, as I didn't know there would be two different pages. I'll be sure to try your game right now!

Criticism - The controls were a bit wonky to use and the connection to the theme was a bit unclear

Support - The character art was very cute and the gameplay (aside from the controls) was very fun and engaging

Yeah, I've had a lot of comments about the unintuitive controls. Next time I'll be sure to put the instructions inside the game itself and make them a little more simple. The connection to the theme was that it's a game where you're trying to get rid of things, which I know is a different approach than many other people took. Since this was my first game jam, I wasn't really sure what interpreting the theme was supposed to look like. Thank you for the direct feedback and I'll make sure to play your game when I get the chance!

Great fast paced game! I had some trouble picking things up at times

Developer

Thanks for the response and for taking the time to play! I think every comment I've gotten includes some criticism of the unintuitive controls, so I'll be sure to either include a little tutorial of sorts or just make more simple controls for future projects.

Thank you for your feedback! I actually started by not using the mouse at all and just using the space bar to pick up boxes, but then I realized I needed it for more precision. I agree though that you should also use the mouse to deliver the boxes instead of just dropping it the customers' feet. The UI was a bit of a last thought and I think the title screen could especially use some work. Just using super scaled up TMP doesn't look very good. I wanted to release the game in the browser like you said, but I've never published a game before and I ran out of time at the end. Thank you again for your constructive response and I'll be sure to play your game when I have a chance after the weekend!
