Super fun, super addictive, I can def see myself playing this over and over, would get to get a mobile set up to play on phone
This game is incredibly creative and addictive. Reminds me of old arcade games that you couldn't stop putting quarters in. Something about the speed of the music and the movement really got me on the edge of my seat kind of the same anticipation and excitement that they designed in Angry Birds.
The game is really fun and the necessary and limited shots that you can collect give you more depth and more tactics. If you want to improve something, the graphics or the animations wouldn't be bad. But otherwise, it's really addicting!
Thank you! what didn't you like about the graphics? Was it the 8 Bit style? Not enough environment? Would love to hear you thoughts!
Yes, I think the walls can be more than just black lines. But your game is very good regardless. By the way, I think it's great (I noticed when playing again) that the opponents can kill each other themselves.
Okay! So over all environment work. Just wanted to get your opinion on the graphics! I love feedback and working on making my games better!
This was really good and created a nice back and forth between offense and retreat. I liked it alot! I would suggest making the bullets bigger, since a lot of my shots missed. And since I have only one life, I will spend less time aiming and more moving around. Great job all around. Be proud of this. ^_^
Thank you! Yes its hard to decide how bit objects should be in relation to everything lol. Ill have to think about that in the future!
very cool game
Thank you!
Great! The music slaps and the gameplay is fun. Reminds me of a top down Superhot. I like how the enemies spawn different locations each time, it keeps the gameplay fresh on each replay. Good job!
HA music was not made by me! Found on OpenGameArt.com. I have a link to the person who made the music in the credits menu of the game! I think by someone called nene!
Thank you for comparing it to superhot lol, I love that game!
Really cool detail that you can trick enemies to shoot each other in tight corners! Really short and simple game but is really enjoyable.
Thank you! At first I was going to remove that detail but I thought it would be fun and a little easier on the player if enemies could shoot each other!
If you realize, the gameplay feels like Superhot and one thing that I really like in this game is that enemies can shoot each other. It got challenging as I progressed further, and died many times than I could remember. Good job on your entry. Enjoyable indeed! 😊
Oh thank you! Being compared to superhot is very nice :)
Minimalist but very engaging, with good controls. I enjoyed so much playing this. Many times I missed my last bullet but then it was really fun to escape from enemies and collect their missed shots on me. The gameplay is very clear and the level design is done really well. Amazing work! Keep it up!!
Also, if you have some time, please play and review my game. Thank you!!
Thank you! Yes I will check yours out!
Nice game. Like the concept, art and sound. The gameplay was fun too. Maybe make the enemy's bullets a little bit slower (although that might just be me being bad at the game). Nice job!
Thank you for playing! Yes, Ill have to look into maybe making an easy / hard mode option!
i quite enjoyed that. it has a simple design, but it adds a lot of different ways to play. do you hoard bullets with the cutoff that you can't dodge as well or do you try to dodge and just pick up a few bullets at a time? great use of the theme
Thank you!
Great game! It was fun to play and see how far I could get. The music was awesome and I love the simple graphics. If I had a suggestion it would be to maybe offer a little more feedback to the player when they are out of bullets. Great game, I had a lot of fun!
Thank you! Yes, it is a little hard to have to look to the top right of the screen to see if you are out of bullets or not!
wow this is actually really fun
Thanks I am glad you enjoyed it!
Simple idea, executed perfectly. The 8-bit feel to the game felt great and the concept is implemented very well! Maybe the speed declining could be a bit of a smaller change at first (felt like I slowed down a lot with just one bullet, just personal preference though :D) Overall, I really enjoyed playing!
Cool game! Nice minimalist style and awesome sounds and music.
(btw play my submission if you have the time :D)
Thank you! Ill check out your game right now!
What a great game! I love how you can pick up enemy bullets as well as your own. I also like the little characters, but I feel like the levels could be a bit more asthetically pleasing with consistant pixel size in elements like the UI and cursor. I like the music as well. Great work!
Thank you! Yes ill have to look into better polishing of the UI and pixel sizes!
Nice minimalist style and super addicting! Amazing game!
Great game! I love the risk-reward scenario where you could let them shoot at you so that you can stock up on more ammo but if you do you're more likely to lose. Great work! Keep it up!
Simple but clear and consistent aesthetic, with really nice tight controls, and an engaging short and long-term gameloop as you lose then desperately try to get bullets from enemies without dying first.
Had a lot of fun playing this. Best I managed was 24 kills.
- My favorite part was those intense moments where you shoot your last bullet, miss, and then have that real speed without any bullets left, enemy shoots and you use that speed to dodge, grab their bullet and manage to shoot again and kill them, in the moment forgetting to go and pick up the bullet because they despawn and then freezing as you wait for the next spawn to pop up haha. Great experience and implementation of the theme, that made for a good game.
The despawn for the bullets was a great design choice and really made it all more tense and fun.
Really appreciated the spawn indicators, and being able to swap hands holding the weapon, QOL features that really helped improve the experience.
I like the consistency and pacing of the time between shots of enemies, that makes you feel more in control when you need to manipulate them to try and actively dodge and get a bullet from them.
Good choice of music/sound, and the font complimented the art well.
- I think with how important it is to know you've shot your last bullet, even if sometimes you're in a position to notice that from your speed, it would be good to have that indicated more. For example a particle smoke cloud from the weapon like it has blasted its final shot and is smoking. In the heat of the action it can be hard to keep track of your bullet count from just the top right indicator, and needing to actually find another bullet is 'more' than just needing to reload in a regular game so I feel something more needs to be there for it.
Oh thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
yes, a better indication of having fired you last bullet would be nice! Ill have to think on that one and come up with an idea! Thank you!! I like the idea of having a particle effect happen when the last bullet is fired!
:) No worries, thanks for making it.
Glad to hear you agree and it helped, good luck finding the right particle for it.
i like the concept you can make it a couch game but you are vs other players
That is exactly what I am making next!! Hopefully you'll come back and play it once I finish that!
