Very cool game! The visual and music is great. I really like the concept and how you can also use time as a resource. Gameplay was really fun, maybe a bit confusing at first but when you get used to it it's a blast. Overall this is a very solid entry. Well done!
Good work! I enjoyed going through this one, but at times I felt lost and unsure of where I should go. Also, I passed the door to the boss room several times and one time it just opened.
i realy like this game , one thing i wanted to say (this isn't a critic i just liked it ) is that the mainmenu theme looks like one that i've made already , and the art is like vilmarks art on the creators game jam its a lovely game tho
yeah I’ve used gimp to do my main menu :) I do like yours a lot and I found yours similar and that also got me to be more engaged!!
I would like to mention a few things
1.The enemies being able to go through walls but their bullets cannot( i know this might be a bit unbalanced if the bullets go through walls but i find it kinda odd)
2.The tutorial and story being told by a wall of text, i find it kinda boring to read, maybe you could add some illustration image to illustrate the text so people can understand it at a glance.
Other than that in my opinion its very great
the music is great, and the concept of sacrificing time for in game benefits is very creative.
1. I was thinking about that but honestly I found that when bullets were able to go through walls the game was becoming a bit too easy. I’ve had enemies firstly roam around the map where bullets would go through walls,?but sometimes then a Player would start with only few enemies around him and sometimes entire map! So that’s the reason I kept it this way to make it harder. I could hypothetically increase the rate of shots and allow the bullets to go through. Although the idea was that this is supposed to be a mind prison and thus, player has much larger restrictions than enemies!
2. yeah I totally agree, unfortunately I’ve had very little amount of time to come up with it (less than 15mins). So that’s why I’ve did it this way. I wanted to do own illustrations as everything in this game is made by me, but I just did not have time for the main menu as much :(
