The Guitar Hero element of the game was very faithful to the original, and I liked how it was always in time with the track. The weapon felt like it has a lot of stopping power, though the lack of true objecive beyond survival meant I was spending more time in the rhythm game portion than I was moving through the environment. Definitely a fun foundation, will be interesting to see where this idea goes!

This is pretty cool! Driving around the environment was fun and the controls were snappy enough to keep me where I was going. Parts of the UI were extremely hard to read at times, the how to play and the objective text were very crushed in places. I did get to the lab but I wasn’t sure where to go after that. Good work!

Cheers! If I update it, polishing will be top of the list!

Thanks for playing! I was running out of time when adding in the obstacles, so I forgot to implement the rotation.

There is a small radius around the bottle where if you juggle, it juggles at a lower power. When I was playtesting, I was just dragging large lines, so I never really noticed it. Thanks for playing it!

The game's core concept fits the theme perfectly. However, sometimes the box would roll off the conveyer all together. Nice work!

I should have thought of that! If I get around to updating it, that's top of the list!

That's perfectly fine, jam games can end up this way now and again.

Quite the fun game that you have produced here for your first jam, nice work! I found the third combination to be quite specific even when I had the combination correct. Out of curiosity, did you run into scope creep during the jam (where the concept of the game became too big to finish under the deadline)?

The game's concept has got good depth, but I found the difficulty to spike quite early, and the controls to not be communicated fully. Nice work regardless!

Thanks for the detail in feedback! I'm currently working on some of the ideas that you've listed, and altering some things, but I'll keep in mind the extra things you pointed out, thanks!

Wow. I was not expecting this level of feedback so soon, thanks for all of this! Since the build you played has gone live, I've reworked all the UI to the menu style, and I'm going to be designing levels 7-10 soon.

Thanks for the feedback! I ran into some issues early on with multiple spot lights, so I switched out to the flashlight model. I'll look into it for an update post jam

I enjoyed the mechanics at hand here! After I got my head around the controls, the puzzles felt very interesting and thought out. One improvement would be that you could have particle effects indicating whether you're attracting/repulsing, because I'd sometimes forget which was which while playing. Overall, this is a great game with a lot of potential, well done!

The stealth mechanics are well implemented to be sure, and even though I couldn't finish the first level, it was still very fun. Nice work!

I had no clue what I was doing in parts. A tutorial would help give a better understanding of the objective here

Given that you have made the game in Scratch, I'd say that you've done well with the time allotted. I will say that with an engine change(to something like Unity) and fleshing out ideas, such as vacuum types, enemy variety and music. Good effort!

Thanks for the detail in feedback! I'll be sure to consider this for future projects!

I'll play your game and review it when I get the chance.

https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-5/rate/927984 Have fun with my wave based top down shooter!

I had fun playing through this mini Metroidvania you've made! I did find a spelling error or two and got stuck in a text box, but besides that, this is a good game with a strong level of polish, well done!

https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-5/rate/927984  Have fun trying mine out!

The game would benefit from an increase in scope, such as less buffing on each spirit pickup, and more clear directions on what to do and how to progress. Having the end boss fleshed out would help too.

If you played the browser version then that explains the crackling, I'm not sure what causes that.

Drop a rating on my game and I'll rate yours back!
