How did you/your team interpret the theme?
The theme was aproached as an antihero adventure platformer.

How was your/your team's experience in this jam?
Was a very nice experience, however, we could not complete even 30% of the game we were looking for due to problems in the elaboration of assets, we will continue developing the game until it is faithful to the original idea.

The art so far is fantastic (love the shine on the ice)! And the music too! Very atmospheric. Since you said you want to continue after the jam, here's my thoughts:

  • I recommend making sure the music doesn't restart on death and just continuously plays. The hiccup is very distracting.
  • If you're going to have very long rooms, I suggest implementing some kind of health bar or mid-room checkpoint system. The length of that room shown in your gif on a one-hit kill system is really brutal.
  • Watch the unexpected deaths from above. Unless you're trying to troll the player, having enemies come from offscreen with no warning to kill them while they're jumping up is never fun. Since the character can't aim upwards, they don't really have any way to counteract it.

You have a solid base you can be proud of and I hope you achieve a faithful version after the jam!

Thank you for testing really appreciate ! Will keep working on it 😊

Really nice graphics. The animations, the shining spikes, the snow, the background tiles that gives the levels cool mountain vibe. One issue i had with the game is that i felt that the camera was kinda zoomed in on the character. The game was awesome. Good job man.

Thank you very much! will check that!

Solid mechanics and level design, the art is fantastic, the most beautiful game i've tested in this jam for the moment. But I haven't seen a clear relation with the theme while playing.

thank you! yes its related the story its about a sorcerer that its trying to steal a power gem to increase your power (clearly, not the typical hero) and wen it does problems starts! its just that some issues in the middle (family thing) and the short time lead me to not be able to do develop the story properly, but i will continue after the jam over.

Art looks great, music sounds good, and most importantly, for a platformer at least, movement feels responsive. Well done!

I like it! Beautiful art, (impressed you comitted to an artstyle with no outlines and made it work!) and fun platforming. I think a jump sound would have added a lot of life/juice to the game.

Well done!

Thanks!! I will add it!, just the lack of time and some problems in the middle are limitating the job, howhever i will continue the work until all get done ;).
