How does your game fit the theme?
You have to listen to what's behind the door to know whodunit

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
The wall/door textures were obtained from Poly Haven; everything there is licensed under CC0 (essentially public domain). The hallway's electrical hum and the main menu music are used under a CC Attribution 4.0 license; credits are in a text file in the ZIP file for my game.

cute game! i love these types of detective-y games and spent a bit too long over analyzing every word someone said lol. someone in the comments also mentioned that this game would've benefited a lot from sound effects, which i agree with since it would help make the atmosphere that much more spooky but we also only had one week on it soooo that can be a post-jam thing! great work :)

Fun game, The enviornment is great, and the graphics fit the atmosphere really wel. I do find the endings a bit confusing, like some people gives you the "You arrested the wrong person" and some the "You got arrested". But thats not that big of a problem. Overall just a really fun detective game!

Great game, keep it up♥

A fun lil mystery game!

This game is a intergerning premise, I love who done its, and the style of game complements that part. The building having dim lighting, and drowned out colors, it makes me feel like I was in the slums. However, this is when I felt like I started running into problems. For example, there was no audio in my play through at all, I double checked my sound settings and there was nothing. No footsteps, no ambience in the building like a leaky pipe or quite wind, nothing. Also I could move during dialogue (Idk if that was intended), the game crashed when I turned, and solving the mystery didn't feel like I was solving a puzzle. BUT, the dialogue from the characters, were very charming and fun to read, which made playing through very enjoyable. Overall, you have got lots of potential, the game felt and looked nice to play but it does feel lacking.  Also my google said the file was harmful but idk why, anyways keep up the grind!

I ran into some of your issues during playtesting. Try re-extracting the game; that fixed it for my playtester

Crashing was fixed and audio works, thank you!

I loved it, honestly. The idea is great, you built a story with just a few elements and created a backstory for each of the characters. I got it in my second attempt, now I want to know more about how this continues!

OMG thank you for the kind words! A couple of the people that playtested this for me wanted to see it on Steam but that's $$$$$. I should continue this game; I have a few ideas already in my head :D

You should definitely continue it, it has great potential to be a really fun and short experience. I'll be following!
