How does your game fit the theme?
it fits the theme because you dont know if a candy bandit will come out of the door and steal your candy or if you will get a treat

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I made all the assets from scratch but I used Shaun Spaldings tutorials to help create the game as it is my first project.

Nice idea but could do with some more gameplay features like fighting more enemies or a win condition, nice art/style though. Good job!

I had to take a look at this since the thumbnail used the same color palette as our game and shares the same name. Overall, the game felt nice to play and I was able to get all 90 candies but nothing happened. On top of that, the game lacked audio, had spots were you got soft locked, no enemies, and the style/art could use some fine tuning. I recommend trying to limit the colors you use to one/4 colors then using the different shades of those to help you become more flexible at creating assets. This feels like ground work that can definitely be expanded upon and looks like it took a lot of effort to construct this together. I'm excited to see what else you cook up on your journey.

Thanks for the feedback. I personally think art is not my strong suit and I will try your advice next time.

Good thing about art is that you can only get better the more you try. You can never get worse at art.
