How does your game fit the theme?
The game is set on an unsuspecting, sunny island. The calm music accompanies you while you figure out what to do. The tasks are simple and even relaxing. Until... The storm. Every few minutes there is a natural disaster out to sabotage your progress or even kill you. The storms come in all type of forms: tornado's, tsunamis or even meteor showers.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We created all the assets and code ourselves, except for the ocean.

very cool game

I really enjoyed this game! To enhance the experience, consider adding a mouse sensitivity setting, as it felt a bit fast for me. Also, making the coconut collection more obvious could help prevent confusion, and automatically collecting items when inventory space is available would streamline gameplay. Overall, it’s visually stunning and immersive—great job!

I liked this game! Some things to consider to improve are:

  • The mouse sensitivity is very fast, I could lower it on my end but I wonder if a setting for it in game may help
  • I thought shaking the trees and coconuts falling down felt like it wasn't too obvious, it only barely showed a coconut and could be a little confusing without checking it closer. I wonder if it could be made more obvious somehow just in case.
  • Collecting an item while you already had one equipped also was confusing that you had to change the item slot to the empty one, this isn't mentioned anywhere on the itch.io page and there's no audio indicator or any other indicator to provide feedback that the action is not allowed or to change to the empty slot. Actually I think it should automatically collect it and not require to manually change the slot just to collect it, and it should just fail to collect it if your inventory is full.

Other than these above I think you did a great job on the game, it is visually very appealing and well done, graphically rich in quality and very immersive. I think it's a really cool game, nice job on it!

I found it kinda hard to controll at the beginning, maybe add a slider for sensitivity? Maybe it was only me. Great music btw.

The natural disasters are insanely well done! It's nice to see a game give me a list of what to do because In most other submissions I get lost easily. The first person controls are really crazy tho 😭, if you could make the player controls slower and more precise that would be very good. Overall a great game!

Great art music was nice and had that tropical island vibe to it, as someone else mentioned the tsunamis came pretty quick and killed me off before i could make the boat or bridge. good game nonetheless i just have to be quicker

The art is great, but the disasters came too quickly, I had 2 tsunamis back to back. Where when I got back to the island the next one was basically on its way already. And then I got killed by meteors while looking for rope. It's a really cool idea though, and with a couple days more of polish on the gameplay I think it would be really fun!
