Cute vibe with graphics and music. With more time on your hands, it could have been a fun game!

I think there is something here, but I find things to be way too easy. I pretty much held W the whole time without a worry. I also wish the spacebar didn't reset the level, I'm very use to spacebar doing something like a jump or a dash, so I will instinctually press it in panic, so when it restarts it gets a bit frustrating, maybe bind to a lesser use key or keep it a UI item. I think with more movement mechanics, and a bump in difficulty you will have a solid game. Thank you for submitting!

Thank you for sharing your feedback! In our panic to submit, I forgot to remove the spacebar reset (I was using that for debugging the boat and water physics). We had teamed up with a level designer who didn't end up delivering any level design, the project files became cursed, and then our sound designer was the only one who could edit the level so we crammed it together as best we could and exported the file haha.

I agree with your assessment, and we hope to achieve something better in the next gamejam we participate in :)

All about learning! I have no doubt that next time you'll make something amazing. I really think that there is a great framework with what you have. I do hope you continue developing this (Or create something similar) as I don't feel there are many games like it!

I liked that feeling of a little but brave ship sailing toward the unknown. Nicely done!
