The game starts out calm and simple, but the gameplay shifts as soon as the player loses.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Aside from the font (Press Start 2p from fontspace.com), everything else is original

It got pretty interesting, how the gameplay switches pretty much immediately. The game told me to click the circles, then I click one and die, and the the box appears. I managed to do some damage to it before getting overwhelmed by the little squares. The damage effect from hitting the box is good. I would've tried more than twice if I didn't have to see the text slowly appear on the screen again everytime I restart and click the circle.

Admittedly, I still am trying to learn how to make the text appear faster (spent a lot of time trying to figure that out) but I will definitely keep this in mind. I'm glad you still enjoyed the game! And thank you very much for the feedback.

Interesting concept, the game is quite polished and-I think- well made. Made me replay it bunch of times!
