How does your game fit the theme?
You try to keep peace and prevent the family members from exploding with rage.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Code and animations yes, but all audio and most graphics are from online sources, modified for the game.

This was the definition of storm. The mechanics should be explained within the game, even if it's just a button in the menu with a wall of text. I would like to see input buffering being added as well. The music added so much tension to the game!
Thank you for the feedback!
Really love the take on the theme! It was sometimes more fun to let certain characters explode lol
Thank you!
Hilarious concept! Took me a while to not have so many exploding family members on my dinner hahah
Thank you!
One of the best ideas I've seen during this jam! I think there might be some issues with misclicks at times, but overall it's really good! I love the graphics too!
Thank you!
Very nice take on the theme, I was a little confused at first, but I got the hang of it slowly, a kind of small tutorial would help.
It's very overwhelming at first, but that makes it a great fit for this theme :D. Great job on making this, keep it up!
Thank you so much!
Third time? xD
Wow... I really liked the music and the art style. The theme has been captured perfectly, creatively and also somewhat amusingly and the actually very simple game loop fits perfectly into the game. I don't find many negative points, only when starting the game I was a bit confused about how it works.
Thank you so much!
Very quirky, humorous, and super creative interpretation on the theme!!! I really loved it! Half the time I didn't know what was going on but that just added to the humour and chaos of everything as I spam clicked on everything!
The sound effects are superb. Instant 5/5. The way the music just keeps escalating along with the tension is just icing on a cake...or a cake that's about to collapse and leave a black splat on everyones' faces, which was what happened on my run! XD
Thank you so much for the lovely comment! :D
And thank you so much for embracing me with this lovely game! :D
I really love your take on the theme it is supper unique and the gameplay is super fun. I am really impressed! great game!
Thank you!
there’s something that’s gonna haunt me tonight about this… experience.
I think this could be one hell of an entry point for a horror game. And in the most positive way possible. If whatever I was doing was the point of calm. Doesn’t matter if I was being a cashier on a sunday on Christmas Rush on retail, while the POS just rebooted or in a field full of puppies and a calm breeze.
You’re getting your storm here.
ok nevermind, the more time I let this marinate in my single (1) braincell the more I like this game. Take my full marks. I loved it way too much in probably the most unintended way possible. A lasting impression, indeed.
Super interesting take on our game, thank you! I can see how this could be made into a horror game with this style. I'm happy to hear it had such a profound effect on you!
Thanks for another comment! Very cool!
Congrats on the submission!
This is very nice, love your take with the theme! You are the first submission I see using Construct 3 very impressive ^^. In my first round, I didn't really know what to do, I missed many cues and everyone ended exploding :' ).
I hope you continue the project! Maybe with more "maps" ? Could be very interesting ^^
Good luck on your next projects!
Thank you so much! Yeah, Construct isn't the biggest engine here. I think I've played only one in this jam that wasn't ours! :D
The goat!! This game is very unique and fun, top marks for both :D The first time I played the music wasn't a part that I had to fix and it played till the end and man what a symphony.. was that a Shepard tone?? Nevertheless, second time I knew what I had to do ;)
Awesome, thank you so much! The music is "Humoresque no. 7" by Antonin Dvorak. There's no Shepard tone - the music just speeds up the more annoyed the family members are, and the broken record loop speeds up, too! :D
that's a great design :D it works!
This game was such a chaotic and fun experience! I loved the way it built tension, and the art style really added to the atmosphere. It took me a while to figure out what to do, but once I got the hang of it, I was hooked. The frantic pace really fit the theme well. Great job!
Thank you so much!
Fun game, it wasn't that hard so it felt quite dull from time to time but otherwise pretty good!
Hm, some people have said it's too hard. Maybe it's the randomizer. Thanks!
Cool game! It was fun to play. The graphics and animations were great and felt like they really fit the game! It had the right amount of challenge so that it was hard but not too hard. Good job! :D
Thank you!
Very nice idea!
very hectic! really like the expression in animation, sort of reminded me of ace attorney, in that theres minimal player interaction, but the differences you do make cause the characters to react in a very over the top way. main gripe with it was that some of the queues were really hard to see. the son in law's change was hard to tell apart from his regular sprites. the also, thought it was a little too "real"? like hearing the baby crying + music speed up + so many other sounds was irritating in a way. im not sure if you meant for it to be stressful in that way, but if you did it worked really well lol. can be hard to achieve "high stress" without the stress feeling unpleasant, especially when it comes to audio. thanks for entering!
Good feedback, thank you! Yeah, it's meant to be stressful, but funny at the same time! :D
My first try was a bit chaotic, but in the next one, I managed to keep two of them alive, haha!
Loved how you turned out with this idea for the theme, congrats!
Thank you!
Crisp audio and a lot of personality in your characters - I'm impressed you managed this in a week!
Thank you!
