I can't decide who endangers my life more - the burger addicts or the zombies?
Fun game, the only really big problem are the buttons, as others have said.
Hilarious take on the theme! I, too, had trouble clicking on the “give plate” button, but then I managed to complete zombie waves and had lot of fun :D
I unfortunately can't seem to find the sweet spot to click that others have commented below. I like the idea a lot and wish I got to experience the combat part. I think maybe the cooking part could be a bit more chilled out so it's more of the 'calm' but it is funny to have these business men gobbletygook all over running at a snail's pace. Great job making this by yourself.
Interesting idea! just like everyone mentioned. I have never made this kind of game, but I have some suggestions as a player.
time is crucial, so bullet instantly hit will be great. rather than aim from one spot, shoot straight, and let the player move between vertical tiles seems more convenient. It's a hectic game so consider auto-reloading the gun.
the money feels not really needed and the difficulty needs some rebalancing, but that is common in Game Jam.
Overall it's a nice work. you have a really good idea.
Loved the idea, cooking and shooting was really funny!
The challenge of selling burgers to make money to buyweapons is a hilarious idea with good potential.
The click accuracy is still an issue as mentioned below me, such an issue that if I hadn't seen the comments I almost gave up before I could sell a single burger.
Other than that, great gamejam submission and good job!
A really good idea and very hectic gameplay, a lot of the mouse clicks weren't registered, but when it worked it was great fun.
Great idea, good theme implementation, just needs some polish and balance/bug fixes. The biggest quality of life improvement would be fixing Give Plate buttons: I have to click so many times before finding the sweet spot. It's probably from raycast target overlaps.
I liked Actions games but defense games gives me too much pressure
