First, the game looks AMAZING!
Really felt like walking in a huge snowy landscape. The robots animations and lights and the general look of the game is on point.
However, the game controls went crazy on me 3 times as I tried to play so I had to give up on it. I think it has something to do with the jumping/climbing mechanics. After doing something like vaulting/jumping/pushing the box the robot would start to do everything backwards - like I press D to go right and the robot wold do a "Moon-Walk" and walk in reverse.
Or am I missing a part of the controls?

The game looks content-packed and funny, and the art style and sounds are also great with the same vibe!
An amazing achievement for 2 weeks of work!
I didn't get to play it but I watched Zodi's stream.
Points for improvement:
- Looks like the turning speed of the character is too slow for combat gameplay.
- The Halloween room puzzle seemed a bit random (more like a slot machine than a puzzle).
Amazing submission for a first gamejam!
Unfortunately, I didn't get too far into the game, I couldn't bare the Old TV flicker/filter on the screen. I highly recommend to add an option to remove it. I did watch Patreafa's stream.
The sequences, music, SFX and the map design are great! I remember my first game jam, I didn't get anywhere near what you accomplished here!
From what I saw on the stream, the part with the camera looks really intense and well made.
Overall the mechanics felt great and I wish I could continue the story if only my eyes would allow it.
Points for improvement:
- Allow the player to remove the screen effect.
- Some exposure improvements can be made, especially in the room with Jeremy, on my screen the white light was totally burned out.
The visual changes when looking through bottles mechanic is very impressive!
I loved the art style, music, SFX (with the dog and all haha).
And WOW the paintings by Hajime Sorayama!
I really enjoyed pouring the first few drinks and playing around with the mechanics.
Points for improvement:
- The drink-pouring puzzles were very repetitive, at some point, I kept playing just out of curiosity.
- Walking outside is extremely slow.
- The UI was very small and located at an uncomfortable position on the screen.
- I couldn't understand how to pour a drink until I saw a video (there is no indication to when it's possible to pour a drink as opposed to indications when it is possible to place the drink down, this makes things very confusing. For example, To interact with the Ice machine and sink there is an indication. But to pour a drink - there are no indicators).
Thanks for playing!
There's a "Respawn volume" in the room, but it seems it doesn't cover well enough. Thank you for pointing it out,
I would love to hear your opinion on my suggested solution:
1. I will try changing the respawn volume(But I doubt it will cover well enough)
2. I will add a OnToyDropped Timer that will start once the player dropped the toy and respawn it if it hasn't been held again for 5 seconds
And thanks for the great advice, for future projects I will keep in mind to make sure the environment makes sense and controls where the player can take objects.
Thanks for the feedback!
In one word: Disturbing (In a good way)
I loved the homage to old horror films and the presentation of social problems.
The art and atmosphere are great even if they were a bit clunky :)
The sound design is on point during gameplay (The cutscenes felt a bit bland).
A few points for improvement:
- The cutscenes were a bit too slow and static (which made it more disturbing in a way, but I think it should have been handled a bit differently to keep the player more engaged).
- The environment didn't quite follow the text - it didn't look like a crazy Halloween party went on, other than a table with cake(which seemed more like a child's birthday).
With all this, you still managed to hook me on the story and truly care for the protagonist and feel scared and disturbed! I enjoyed it very much and I don't usually play Point and Click games!
Cheers!
Loved the art, atmosphere and writing.
The camera angles are genius, the game is short and straight to the point(In a good way really!).
The dialogue actually made me uneasy and disturbed, great implementation of the theme!!!
Points for improvement:
- The music was not the best choice in my opinion.
- There was practically no challenge, felt more like an interactive story(A good one at least!).
Where do I begin?
First of all, anyone who sees this, play this game.
Amazing writing and attention to detail. This game is captivating.
I don't usually play this type of game, but you managed to include just enough 3D game elements other than the Terminal interaction, and your writing captivated me.
Cheers!
Where do I start?
First of all, anyone who sees this, play this game.
Excellent adaptation of the theme, genius writing and idea.
Exceptional things I loved:
- The writing....
- Attention to detail, the world changes as we advance in the game.
- Special sections.
Some points for improvement:
- Moving in and out from the Terminal sequence each time was a bit annoying, especially after admiring the start-up animation the first time.
- A bit of a "future" suggesting, maybe make the reporting system a bit more advanced like maybe you can choose not to report anyone (it would break the amazing story you delivered here for sure but just a future suggestion).
Cheers! I don't usually play this type of game, but you managed to include just enough 3D game elements other than the Terminal interaction, and your writing captivated me.
I can say it's the "Fullest" experience I had with a game jam submission until now.
Loved the visual and sound presentation! Great atmosphere!
The writing is phenomenal, it really made me feel like two intelligent people are having a conversation.
I kind of wished that there would be more features like maybe trying to solve the mystery while actually driving haha. Or using stuff like the dashboard of the car to get certain reactions from the passenger (I thought I could control the dashboard that said "Navigation".)
Great implementation for the theme, I enjoyed it, Cheers!
I would appreciate it very much if you could revisit the game.
Now I understood what you meant, the game got stuck on the start of level 2! What a bummer I wasn't aware such a bug can occur.
In any case there is a "Select Level" option to select from which level to start in the menu so you can jump right into level 2.

Amazing feel and art!!
The stylish menu combined with the perfect music, colors lights, and mood. Truly a masterful work!
The controls are tight and responsive! All of the game's mechanics seem to work perfectly.
Constructive criticism:
- I might not have reached far (Round 5) but there was no enemy variety.
- The overall gameplay is great, but I felt I always wanted to fight enemies that are more similar to the main yellow robot, the rats were just annoying.
Overall amazing work, good job!
Hey, thanks for playing!
Thanks for the positive feedback and suggestions!! I totally agree that the game loop is too long, I originally planned to add a "Speed up game time" button, but then it started screwing up the music so I decided to give up on it because of the time constraints of the jam.
I also made some poor choices with the storm's height changes because I originally planned it to be a game where the player builds a barricade (Not making a structure as tall as possible but more 360 cover). When I realized it's not working quite that way I made some last minute changes and it mutated to be what it is now haha.
Again, thanks for giving it a shot and great feedback! Appreciate it!
Mind-Blowing UI!
Great music, cool and smart usage of simple materials!!
Constructive criticism:
- I didn't quite understand the mechanics, I just set up a bunch of stands and then Run the Event. Then People would show up and money would increase. But I couldn't understand what's the measurement for winning or loosing.
- Although the squares and colors has a nice vibe to it, and taking in account the limited time of the jam it was a good idea to use them. Still, I would have liked to see actual food trucks etc.
- The Menu where we need to select a Card (between levels) didn't seem to work.
- After starting an event, pressing the (>) "Play" button would skip the event to the next day but without calculating any incomes. So I guess it functions more like a "Cancel event" button, but it would make much more sense to make it a skip to the end button instead of watching all the smiley faces pile up every time.
Overall really cool use of Unreal Engine, a very unique Game and theme interpretation.
Good job!!
Hey, nice work!
Very cool idea for the story and theme implementation! Timmy sure needs help with the way he moves hahaha
Starting from the movement mechanic is game is kind of broken, The character slides around as if he is sliding and only friction stops him. I "Passed" missions without completing them (For example cut down 8 trees without leaves, I didn't do it and just passed to the next mission).
good job creating it in a week!
Great game! One of the best this gamejam!
Got to round 13, is there a last round?
It was mad how you can move the animals around after the round starts and during the round as opposed to most tower defense games where once you place a defense it becomes unmovable. The art is amazing, love the animals designs and the music.
However, the connection to the theme was lost on me
Well done!
Seems like a very ambitious project!
The game map is huge and sets the atmosphere perfectly. Running around it gives eerie vibes and chlls.
Unfortunately, the Monsters and the green fog were very glitchy and I didn't quite understand what is the point :(
The pause menu has no option to return to the game? I only saw options to invite a friend, go to settings or quit the game haha.
Overall very cool atmosphere and it seems like a ton of work, has good potential.
Good job!
Very cool art and design!
Honest and constructive criticism:
The game loop of collecting items and then gaining more playable characters is a really good idea! However I felt the implementation was a bit stiff. The small view angle and walking around the map almost blindley wasn't very fun. After dying I didn't want to repeat that step of collecting items again for battle... it's a kind of frustrating and I would suggest to change up this mechanic(maybe allow the player to try the battle again with the progress they managed to achieve last time).
The game crashed once upon changing the location of my butterfly :(
Overall a great idea, great art you did by yourself! good job!
Really nice mechanics and animations.
I would suggest letting the player shoot side-ways and back in third-person, and also shoot side-ways and back in first-person.
Also when in first-person, maybe change the controls so the player can look around with the mouse while still navigating the ship with A and D.
The connection to the theme is a bit weak.
Also add some screenshots/videos to the game page!
Overall great potential and good mechanics, good job!
in the image I won the game, and then an enemy ship hit me, so I won and lost in the same time XD :
Hey, Thanks for playing!
Thank you for the positive feedback, you killed me with the comment on the chair level XD I thought it was the easiest hahaha
Definitely had the skipping day time in mind, at some point I added a button to speed up the in-game seconds but it started causing problems with the music playback and in the time frame of the jam I decided to give up on it :( Maybe I should have went on a more simple implementation like just starting the storm right away(simple thoughts that come when the mind is not in gamjam-stress-mode).
The physics and rotation issues are known to me, I didn't understand the complexity before I already went into deep waters into the gamejam ahaha. But it was a good learning experience, and I got to fulfill a bit of my childhood dreams from playing "Garry's Mod" and Half-Life's Gravity Gun hehe.
One of the best in the gamejam!
Great enemy variety, Loved how each enemy is different and they are all really well designed and thought of. Beautiful art(Did you make the sprites and animations etc?).
It's polished, challenging and fun!
The only weird thing I encountered is the upgrade system. It wouldn't allow some upgrades without much sense, for example it would let me upgrade Damage twice, then it would only let me upgrade health and won't let me upgrade speed.
The theme connection could be stronger.
These are some of the most beautiful words I got to read, you really are an amazing writer(Your game has AAA writing potential), and you really made my day!
I do have a tendency to take up on projects that are a bit too big for my shoulders (The rotation system, the collisions and the physics in the engine etc). As I went deeper into the jam and started tweaking those things I realized I got myself into deep waters (literally hehe). But I think the main reason we do gamejams is to learn, and the second reason is to make connections.
I actually always wanted to make a game like this, ever since the days of playing around with "Garry's Mod" as a kid and also Half-Life's Gravity Gun. ( Hope you know what I'm talking about)
It's far from perfect and my Idea of the Lightning coming in from around the island was breaking down as I was making the game. My original intention was that the player will build a barricade and cover themselves 360. At this point the storm "Shooting" angle was parallel with the floor, but then I realized that if it's parallel with the floor then it's enough for the player to build a barricade in the height of the player and the height of the storm doesn't affect anymore.
Then it slowly mutated into being more height oriented or whatever it is now hahaha
