How does the game fit the theme?
In Panic Porter, you’re just a simple porter trying to keep up with the kingdom’s never ending supply requests. What could possibly go wrong? Well… a lot. The towers are under attack, their demands make no sense, and you’re scrambling to grab the right (or completely ridiculous) item before it’s too late. But hey, as long as you deliver something, nothing can go wrong… right?

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All core gameplay, mechanics, music, and core assets like player and items were created during the jam.
However, we used free assets from itch for UI, and Environment Tilemaps to speed up development.

It's a pretty fun little game, at first I thought it just wasn't running but once you fullscreen it you can see the requests. Matching the items to a request is a fun concept and gets chaotic pretty quick but I had fun with the first match!

Simple to figure out and fun to find a match to the requests! Ran into the issue with aspect ratio of the embed cutting off most of the UI until you fullscreen the game. Would suggest having diffrent representations for the 4 towers and a small visual feedback outside of the UI for when you deposit items. Great music to porter to!

Very clever concept and cute art, the requests were a lot of fun to figure out. My only suggestion is that when the game isn't full screen, the UI is out of bounds and when I full screen it on my 16:10 monitor the UI is close to the center. It might be interesting to add another thing to deal with on top of the requests, maybe simple enemies you have to fight off with whatever object you are holding could be funny, great work.
