How does the game fit the theme?
Supposedly nothing can go wrong when you follow a recipe book. But what if that book is incomplete? What could possibly go wrong making potions at random?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Fonts and audio were not made from scratch. The rest was.

This was a nice little recipe game! having to reference a cook book to make things in the future was a pretty fun concept that did well to play into the theme! If you follow the rules, nothing will go wrong. However, the game also asks you to improvise from time to time. Sometimes it's as simple as "oh, there is no recipe for this, but these left over items don't appear to get used here, i must have to combine those!" giving you that moment of feeling pretty smart! However later puzzles ask for you to do that a lot, while still in the middle of them, leading to you just throwing things in randomly until you get a desired result. Not a bad thing, but the game is also incredibly long! Played for about 30 minutes and still barely scratched the cookbook! While I applaud you for the work you did, it's almost a little too much for someone to beat, and I got through at least 20 or so of these puzzles!
Also as a small quality of life thing, maybe reorganize the cook book by result rather than ingredients!
In summary, great job on all the content you were able to get into this!
Oh my, that's a lot of different recipes. I want to come back to this later with more time. Combination games are pretty fun! Especially when themed like this. I would say the non-safe combination sound is a bit jarring.
I wasn't able to get too far because of a black key. I had no idea how to make it. Perhaps I needed to find a different solution. The main difficulty I see with combination games is finding combinations that makes sense. Sometimes you just can't guess or combine the right items for a black key.
I do want to come back to this though. It just takes time to discover combinations and recipes.
