Ok i laughed at some moments, similar to gta
I was a little bit confused at first about negative timers, but I got the purpose once I finished a full cycle. It has a nice chaotic and goofy vibe which is always good for games like this. I experienced a few frame drops a times but most likely due to me playing the web version.
Overall short but good experience !
Thank you! I do wish I gave myself more time to test with the HTML version of the game. There are a lot of issues I need to fix that aren't present in the executable version.
It gave me some old school GTA vibes. It was very chaotic but fun. Was there a win scenario?
There is kind of. The game runs for a "day" being 7 and a half minutes. I wasn't sure if I should've made the day 5 or 10 minutes long, so I hit the middle ground. I have learned that 5 would have been more ideal.
Ooooh, that was fun! Gameplay felt great!
That got hectic fast! I like the sound design with the pitching effects. Not sure if there was a win condition, what the meter top right really did and what penalty the timer running out had. Also voicelines were funny (:
The top right meter is the day duration. I have learned that 7.5 minutes is a bit too long. I wish I could make it 5 minutes for the jam instead. But we live and learn. Glad it was fun!
Fun game! I think it could be improved with a minimap, cars bouncing off of each other instead of sticking, and some kind of progression. I really like the car controls and the chaotic feel of the game! good job!
A mini map is a good idea. The city is procedurally generated, but should still be doable. I agree, the cars could use some fine tuning to make feel better. Thank you!
